What are they pretending it does? The US designation means that should a French (or other) firm decide to continue to do business with the IRGC, they can have their US assets frozen and can't do business in the US. Does the Iranian declaration mean that if Hezbollah takes US aid then they can't get Iranian aid? How the heck do we sign up for that? 45 would have totally wiped out their funding with the stroke of a pen. Cheapest war we'll have ever fought.
