Can anyone tell me if this policy is in reaction to something or just a decision out of the blue? You'd think this would have been implemented sooner if it this was decided to be new team policy.

I think it has to be in response to last years training camp and reporters keeping track of completion %, TDs, etc. while the QB competition was going on. I think Rodak had basically a daily breakdown for each QB.

Seems pretty short-sighted to me. Sounds like telling an 18 year old they need to wait to 21 to have a beer-they want it even more. The Bills have seen a huge uptick in season tickets and popularity, and the media has a lot to do with it too. Watching the interest by the media and fans at last year's TC was astonishing compared to some years ago. I mean did teams really derive an advantage from Rodak's training cap numbers JMO

I think the Cowboys instituted something similar last year but I don't recall it being this strict

So the Bills are copycats?

Are teams really this dumb? The fan reports have always been more thorough than any local or national paid reporter. Cant wait for the days they start escorting fans out for reporting.
