That gift "little breather" that the Giants were given kept Buffalo Bills kicker Scott Norwood out of his FG range. Not only was the catch so obvious but the call for the review came at a very suspicious time - something like 8 seconds after the catch. Just when the Buffalo Bills pass offense was set to take advantage of the Giants pass defense that was not prepared to defend the play.
