Maury Ballstein
I don't want Rex gone, but how exactly is he proven? He has had 2 winning seasons in his career. 2 afc title games >>>> 16 years no playoffs
Dorkington
And he reached those title games with Butt Fumble. We have a legitimate offense now, imagine if we had a defense worth writing anything about.
26CornerBlitz
Yes! Please let this happen! @AlbertBreer One thing that could help Doug Marrone in his interview with Dolphins EVP Mike Tannenbaum today -- He has Bill Parcells in his corner. TheFunPolice
This is an exciting time for Doug Marrone. Over the next couple of weeks he gets to find out where he will be an offensive assistant next year! Not even an OC (he's an "offensive genius" who doesn't call plays and I don't think ever has) The sad thing is that he was a local guy and all. Obviously. Can you imagine the angst St. Doug will experience once he has to deal with the tweets of Omar Kelly? It's almost too much to wish for.
YoloinOhio
Miami wants Gase. If Gase goes elsewhere this could happen.Gase and Marrone have same agent. The national guys keep pumping Gase to Miami like they won't "let him leave the room" but local reporter Armando Selguero refuted that they want him. Bronc24
Marrone/Schwartz kicked Rex's ass... I'm not sure I want this to happen Did they meet in the parking lot after the game? Because I recall the Bills beating the Jets. Just like they did twice this season as well. Edited January 8, 2016 by Bronc24
YoloinOhio
@jasonlacanfora I'd anticipate an offer from the Dolphins to Gase this weekend. Could be first coaching hire made. Other teams still want to talk to coaches Gase would be kind of a "meh" hire IMO for the Fish. Thoughts?
YoloinOhio
@alexmarvez If Adam Gase comes to @MiamiDolphins don't be surprised to see @Bengals DBs coach Vance Joseph to follow as defensive coordinator @NFLonFOX @pschrags Adam Gase Tour continues. He's headed back to Miami for a second interview for the Dolphins HC job on Saturday. @NFLonFOX Edited January 9, 2016 by YoloinOhio

26CornerBlitz
Getting serious @thephinsider Report: Dolphins cancel Hue Jackson interview, Plan to hire Adam Gase What!?! No St. Doug hire? I am shocked that any team would pass up an opportunity to hire such a great coach!
Wayne Cubed
Looks loke Gase to Miami is all but done: @AdamSchefter Dolphins and Adam Gase making progress, slight issues remain. If they iron them out today, Gase would become Dolphins next HC, per sources.

26CornerBlitz
St. Doug with another strike out! @AlbertBreer The reason Bears OC Adam Gase was brought to Miami today was to negotiate a deal to be Dolphins coach. Expectation is that'll happen.

YoloinOhio
Sounds familiar @armandosalguero Jimmy Sexton worked out clause in Parcells contract with the Dolphins that allowed him to quit and still get paid.
