Do we really blow it and make massive moves or do we simply make adjustments. I think the age of Williams will come to end. I can foresee Mario and Kyle Williams both being released. I can see Jerry Hughes being moved to OLB. It looks like Aaron Williams may have to strongly consider giving in up and Duke Williams, well he isn't very good anyhow. Leodis McKelvin is clearly another guy who has to go. There's plenty of good young talent on the defensive side of the ball but obviously, Rex's great attacking defense needs "his" players. The offensive side of the ball seems to be all about the O-line. Do we invest big time in Cordy Glenn? Are there better options? Is he worth a big time contract, which is what he would ask for. Is Richie Incognito resigned? He is 32 now, and maybe yesterday was a preview of things to come. What about Eric Woods? Can we do better? And then the right side, which has been below average at best. Obviously both John Miller and Seantrel Henderson will be back. You can't upgrade and rebuild an entire O-line in one off season. We also need a big receiver, a backup running back who can stay healthy. We also might need a new kicker and exactly why do we waste a roster spot on a kickoff specialist? Lots of changes are coming in my book but will they mean a thing? Based on recent history, say the entire 21st century worth of history, it seems unlikely. As much as I don't like the coaching staff and there could be some marginal tweaks made there, following Cleveland's lead and blowing things up every three years just hasn't worked for the Bills. Players need to adjust to the new schemes and just a few player tweaks, mostly on D. This is not just what i want, but realistically what will happen. I really envision him in Pegula's ear last year promoting what the hiring of Rex would do for season ticket sales. There are so many Brandon lovers... no matter what is said about his lack of involvement in football decisions I don't believe it for a minute. IMO they havent really 'blown things up' since Donahoe came in. It has all been some sort of nepotistic progression since then. Changes over the years have been mild changes. Pegula has committed to the current course, although I fear Whaley will be sent packing. That's an average of ~2.5 years per coach. 2 of them willingly walked away from the team into coaching abyss, one of them is incumbent of one year, and others include "Affect the head" Williams, Jauron, and Gailey. They need someone at the top to build a program from the top-down. There continues to be some level of disfunction there... whether its under Pegula or under Wilson. The little turds one of these guys lays to the media (like Whaley going rogue, Manuel going to be the starter if he does well in London, all the crap last year, possibly the Whaley contract thing from last week, etc...) shows this. Every off season you need to evaluate your team and drop guys who either don't fit and/or aren't worth what you're paying them and/or can be replaced by cheaper options. Is there a certain threshold of roster turnover that qualifies as a blow up? I think the Bills need a linebacker upgrade regardless to more effectively combat the New England "problem". For as good as Bradham and Brown are, they are more run stopping LBs IMO.
