Hapless Bills Fan
Seems pretty last minute to be looking for O-line depth at final cut down? If you aren't happy with your OL depth, when do you suggest you look? It's not like people are cutting quality OLmen in the middle of July. We missed on the guys we wanted in FA, and we drafted Miller in the 3rd who looks "Money" so far. If the guys you've got aren't getting it done, next opportunity is to comb through the roster cutdowns. I said it last year and I'll say it again. We should have taken a G\C with our first pick in the draft. OK - who did you want who was still there at Pick 50? http://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2015/draft.htm Yeah, we suck. Instead of listening to you, they drafted one in the 2nd 3rd round who's starting. When will they ever listen to you... Fixed. Miller our 2nd pick, but drafted in 3rd round. Mitch Morse would have been cool. Ali Marpet would have been cool. Laken Tomlinson would may have been worth trying to move up for. Honestly, if I were the Bills I think I'd have drafted all O Linemen for the last 10 years. I strongly believe in the idea that big men win football games. And maybe would have given that first round QB we have, what's his name again, may have given him a better start to his career. It's more than well documented the impact of a great LT is to an offense, and a QB's performance. But interior linemen, and synergy between a center and a QB can be so key to a potent offense. The running game, and just scoring points, which is all we want to see. I'd love to see the Blls average 27-28 points a game, someday. Last year was murder... Chandler#81
Fixed. Miller our 2nd pick, but drafted in 3rd round. Ha! Thank you. I realized my error right after I posted, but knew I'd be corrected soon.. Yes, our 2nd pick.
djp14150
Don't be surprised yo see buffalo using multiple 2-3 TE formations where they use Clay as a slot receiver. The likely use a TE in a FB role on some plays.
26CornerBlitz
@mikerodak Here is a player-by-player breakdown of the Bills’ 53-man roster, which currently stands at 52 players: http://es.pn/1NdBhRQ
YoloinOhio
@SalSports: The Bills have signed DT Andre Fluellen and five to the practice squad. He rejoins the team.
GunnerBill
So are we now at 53 excluding Marcel?
26CornerBlitz
So are we now at 53 excluding Marcel? Correct. Fluellen will likely be gone after week 1.
GunnerBill
Correct. Fluellen will likely be gone after week 1. Thanks. He was my additional week 1 holdover on my very first roster prediction so that might be one thing to tick haha.
NoSaint
Correct. Fluellen will likely be gone after week 1. Interesting if that's the plan. You'd think young guy not a vested veteran for that roster spot.

Nanker
Right. He plays one game and gets his entire year's salary.
Augie
Red Bryant slows down towards end of year. Bills may bring him back after game 1 where they pay per game so they do not need to pay guaranteed salary. Maybe, but it's the one game where we need him the most! Right. He plays one game and gets his entire year's salary. Now that's my kind of job!
GunnerBill
Interesting if that's the plan. You'd think young guy not a vested veteran for that roster spot. His salary is not significant though is it? He is likely the compromise. Bryant was too expensive for the benefit of one game but Rex wanted some experience. YoloinOhio
I thought Fluellen looked pretty good in preseason. Quick off the snap.
Dragonborn10
Ok so they added a C and DT. I would add another OLB and get rid of O'Leary. I would rather have IK on 53 man roster over O'Leary. When Marcell comes back do they keep Fluellen and his vested salary or let him go? I would rather carry an extra DT, kick Carrington to DE, and reduce TE's to four.
LeGOATski
Does anyone think the offense is going to show more spread formations than what we saw in preseason? That would help explain keeping a greater variety/depth of pass-catchers, at least early on.
