I think he could and should sign somewhere else if the Colts don't fix that defense. They will never get further if continue to draft like they have since he got there.

No chance at all that the Colts let Luck test free agency

CBF

if I am him, I would tell them I want to. Unless they show they can manage the personnel a little better.

Luck's playoff numbers over 6 games: 3-3, 56%, 9 TD, 12 ints, 70 rating.

Last year's playoffs, his D gave up 10 and 13 points before the NE blowout.

In playoff elimination games, he has 2 TDs, 7 ints in 3 games.

He may truly be the next Peyton Manning.

I'll take the next Peyton Manning. He does have a ring. Unlike us.

Irsay would never understand that! He seems to be nuttier than the old man was.

Both he and Russell Wilson (RGIII and Tannehill too) have 5th year options. If they don't extend this year, the options will be used so they're at least under contract through next year.

Come on guys... Franchise tag would be used well before any chance of him to be a FA.

Then u sign him and lose picks

They can still match on that option tho

they would certainly use the exclusive version, where he cannot talk to other teams

Oh my God. He's been in the league three years and singlehandedly taken his team to the playoffs each season. He has taken one step forward each year- the first year they made it but lost in the first round, the second year they won a game, the third year they won two games. I'd say that I like the direction his career is headed.

I posted very similar stats and man did I get trashed for it.

Correct. That is precisely the Peyton Manning analogy.

Well, according to a former performer, Luck is like the emperor's new clothes. So maybe the Colts finally got wise to things.

What does that mean? I mean I understand the emperor's new clothes reference- are you intimating that everyone says Andrew Luck is so good because it's what you're supposed to say but that certain people in the know realize that he's actually not that good?

4merper4mer thinks Luck has us all bamboozled. He's good. Don't worry.

So to be clear, you are somewhat dubious of where Andrew Luck's career may be headed but you are a staunch defender of EJ Manuel and his magical mysterious upside?

Well, to be fair, Luck won 10 of his first 14 games. Clearly he's destined for mediocrity.
