Roman offenses average about 30 passes per game. Ground and Pound.

wasn't this similar to Rex and the NYETS when they went to the Conference CG 2 years running with Shankchez?

http://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/nyj/2009.htm 2756 rushing yds and 21 rushing TD's, 2380 passing yds and 12 TD's, 21INT's

Great point. Everyone seems to be rushing to the conclusion that this new offense will be all run, run, run... they shouldn't forget, however, that McCoy is a pretty gifted receiver out of the backfield... or that the Bills just spent 2 first round draft picks on a "generational" receiver in Sammy Watkins...a guy that Rex Ryan has a previous connection to... the Bills will likely run the ball more than we have seen recently, but lets not just assume the passing game is going to be non-existent.

Assuming Roman's play designs are better, we should have some pretty successful play action passes :)

The entire TEAM should be thrilled -- the Bills essentially traded a "depth" player for a top-3 RB. The only people who aren't loving this deal are the ones with mad man-love for Kiko.

or those who are unhappy this trade will help EJ. :)

I'm confident the entire team is thrilled.

ej should be the happiest man in buffalo. rex and roman will not be asking him to win the games. just not to lose it. could he become our alex smith?

I believe that is the plan.

The competition against Jeff tuel?

I will be very surprised (and unhappy) if we don't bring in at least 1 FA. I'd like to see 2, and even 2 plus draft a guy. Just don't call for the Turk until the bath mats are rolled up in September.

So says Leroi

Even if Leroi was correct when McCown was supposed to be signed by Friday I think the plans may have changed when he went elsewhere

so now we are adding 3 Qbs? thats news again. you are breaking lots of stuff today.

that's as per Leroi and others a month ago. they tried to add McCown and then they were also going to get Locker and draft a guy
