Love COC - Pepper and crew kick so much ass....

One of my all-time favorites - would be great walk-up or ring entry music:

I like your choices as well

- Hatebreed defines its own genre in metal - rage metal - just about all of their songs make you want to rage against something/someone and tear it/them to pieces

- Malevolent Creation - crushing...just crushing...

- Bloodbath - more crushing, although I'm not big into death/gore very much - although watching this dude hyperventilate playing Hammer Smashed face on the clarinet KILLS me - when I need a good laugh I watch this (kid in the background on the laptop as this kid is dying is classic):

lol that is awesome, I saw a hammer smashed face cover with a banjo that was not half bad.

Fun fact; Cannibal Corpse and Malevolent Creation both originated from Buffalo :thumbsup: .

Also Hatebreed belongs to the Hardcore genre.

No, Bodies off of Danzig III:

vs Zeppelin's How Many More Times:

Of course, Zeppelin probably ripped it off from somebody else first.

Danzig not only rips off riffs, but he makes covers as well:

And the better version  :

I'm pretty sure he ripped off a Judas Priest riff too:

And the MUCH better one (one of my favorite all time songs):

Any suggestion- recomendation of progressive metal

Baroness

TesseracT

Gojira

And just started listening to this recently:

Devin Townsend Project

And if you find yourself doubting his metal cred, this is the same guy in 1995 (NSFW):

I never knew about Albert King; thanks for sharing!

That's an awesome Priest song, among many. Love the way Halford uses his voice as an instrument. They used a similar riff in Deceiver from Sad Wings of Destiny, but I think they were all heavily influenced by Children of the Grave.
