Week 3: Chargers' Game Preparation - Sammy Wins RoW

He's a phenomenal athlete...at South Carolina, he played DE, DT, OLB, ILB, nickel S, and was the team's upback on the punt team...he once took a fake punt 60 yards for a rushing TD.

Up until this season, he really hadn't found his game in the NFL, but I always felt he'd be a Swiss army knife type defender that would play in the league for a long time.

That's crazy, and awesome. He had a good game against Seattle and seems to have gotten it, that or their scheme is better this year for his talents. Either way, him being out helps us this weekend.

SD Tribune is calling this game vs. Buffalo Bigger than Seattle. Mainly because the bolts usually lose after winning a big game. Rivers is talking it up like they are "different" this year and will not be on the win-lose-win-lose slope again. That being said i don't think SD has any idea how difficult it will be to play in front of this crazy Bills sellout crowd. That is an intangible that keeps Seattle winning. Good D and a crazy loud crowd can't be replicated on the SD practice field. I'm hoping we see the same emotion from Bills players this week.

This is a real stat:

The Seahawks averaged 8.3 yards a run against the Bolts last week.

TOP means everything. Keep PR off the field.

The Bolts are ranked 31st in yards per rush against at 5.6. That's horrible, even through just two games. Combine that with the fact that the Bills love to run the ball and it doesn't look good for the Bolts D. They're going to have to bring a S up to help which should open some stuff up for Sammy or Goodwin.

Even better with 80% chance of rain. :)
