Punch
Travis Leder @travisleder 2m MORE: According to Cleburne Co. Sheriff's Office, Dareus taken in by State Trooper last night. Was released within the hour. @nfl @wvuatv
Dirtbag
let's not rush to judgment and assume this is bad. it's entirely possible he was just arrested for something like...speeding. because he was late for a meeting with marrone. and he didn't want to get suspended for the first half of our first preseason game. when you think about it that way, it actually reveals a lot of maturity and personal growth on his part. i'm proud of the kid. NoSaint
If released within the hour we can guess its pretty minor. Given his obviously turbulent home life in Alabama I wouldn't be upset to hear he was spending time elsewhere (ie buffalo).
BenchBledsoe
I don't care if you believe me, but I HATED the Dareus pick. Wanted AJ Green. Everybody was all poo-pooing taking a WR. But you tell me, would you trade Dareus for AJ? Of course you would. AJ is a difference-maker. Dareus is just pretty good.
Punch
I just realized WVUA tweeted the arrest at SportsCenter's twitter account--- that's kind of douchey.

QB Bills
Andrew Luck really screwed us by not declaring that year. We would have had Cam Newton.
BenchBledsoe
Is it not true? Not having Cam is a blessing. He's overrated. Carolina will always be teased.
thronethinker
So he is gone for 4 games most likely. In these situations the team should have the option to reclaim all monies lost from signing a player that defaults on his contract.
