Wait a minute. There is no way Keenan Allen didn't make it.

Keenan Allen was excellent, for a rookie, but he wasn't a top-ten player at his position this year. Alonso was.

You know you've been a Bills fan too long when you don't want the players getting these kinds of accolades for fear they will become to expensive to keep.

The Bills make fair offers, they dont overpay for a position like Safety (whitner and Byrd) but they are too expensive to keep? the PLAYERS and their AGENTS make them too expensive. Also what part of many of these players just wanted the hell out of Buffalo is still being missed?

And they keep losing. There's a disconnect somewhere, wouldn't you agree?

Be honest, do you think the Bills offer was as good or better than what Byrd got from the Saints? And that he left even then because he wanted out of the city?

Not to interrupt and turn this into a Byrd thread but I hope that they didn't offer a safety 6 years - $54M. I think that is a bad business decision. The Saints window is 2-3 more years max so they mortgaged the future for that window (rightfully so). The Bills are in a different situation. They gave about half of that money to AW who IMO will be better over the life of his contract than JB. He is better in run support and a better athlete. Their career trajectories are going in opposite directions. Edited by Kirby Jackson

It makes it pretty easy to post when people are posting exactly what you are thinking!!

Had buffalo over spent and kept Byrd and maybe even levitre, we wouldn't be able to field an evenly talented team...

We have built a solid foundation, and who knows, we may be to the point where we can squander cash on a luxury to put us over the top soon, but we certainly aren't there yet!
