Every team that has been on there has stated they were shocked at how knowledgeable, easy to work with, and professional the Crew was. Fans whine and B word to get more positive exposure, so lets do this! It is seen by many fans, let them in and see how good our guys are, how good the franchise is, how good the stadium and training facilities are, get NFL fans across the spectrum on a bandwagon of sorts for this year. This would be a really good opportunity to shun some pre conceived notions about our Bills on a national level.

Just curious, how good is our franchise? what will people around the league find out about our team? Have you been to other stadiums and training facilities? I think the national perception of the Bills is probably spot on. Over 50 years, the majority of the time a pretty lousy team playing in an outdated facility.

hmmm.. I've chosen not to watch the series but as a transplanted WNYer, I'd gobble up everything Bills. And, yes, BringBackFergy, I like the angles you suggest and would include.. wait for it... Bringing back Fergy!

You don't know what you're missing. It's a great show and, I feel, a must for any football fan. I can't imagine any football fan sitting down to an episode and being able to turn off the TV.

Ahh yes, my all-time pet peeve thread where half the people, in a blatant attempt to let the rest of us know that they're smarter than us, will adamantly state with exclamation points how they would never want the Bills on Hard Knocks because it would be some sort of distraction when, in actuality, it would be porn for Bills fans and everyone last one of us would watch and love every second of it. And yeah, Chandler, you need to watch it. Every season of that show has been must-see TV for any football fan with the exception of the Dolphins season, which sucked.

My thoughts exactly. The distraction angle is such crap. Distractions are excuses that bad teams make.

But OH MY LORD THERE IS A CAMERA!! Stevie might say something stupid!!! It could be a....wait for it.....DISTRACTION!

guess what the guys have twitter and Instagram and vine and every possible way to get what they want out there out there.

I love the show of Hard Knocks, but I'm ambivalent toward it being in Buffalo. On the one hand, would LOVE to see the BILLS get that media coverage and of course be able to see some things behind the velvet rope. On the other hand, I'm worried about the distraction it "could" cause for a team that is beginning to appear on the rise and its upward trajectory is encouraging and seeing too much might only dash such perception, not to mention the absolute BASHING they would take by the casual fan across the country....so, if it were to happen, I would enjoy it but also worrry about its potential deleterious effect on the team....seeing RW get the honor he deserves would be perfect though, and may be the catalyst for a really good season.

Ok. You guys have sold me on it. As a Bills fan your right, it would be "Bills fan porn" and a most see for all fans.

At the very least, maybe it would show Stevie actually doing something besides getting tattoos and doing commercials and would change the thought process around here a little. Haha

This.

Also, I became more interested in teams that I previously didn't like or even care about (yes, even the Dolphins) after they appeared on this show.

The fear of doing this is ridiculous and cowardly. This sort of exposure for one of the NFL's inconsequential teams would be a benefit and pretty damn interesting.

Don't get me wrong, I love everybody's updates from camp...but this would be even better.

You don't recall this boards interest in seeing teams like Tennessee, Oakland, Detroit or KC on it after their owners passed? Me either.

While those are things that could be mentioned, I don't think they make for the type of story joe nfl fan is really looking for.

Yeah, they are looking for teams with high profile players.

That's not what that show is about, and wouldn't really show any daily activities Ralph ever took part in, or reminisce about during training camp and preseason, since he wasn't really involved. Plus, I loathe that stupid show to no end, and would wretch at the thought of the Bills being featured.

C'mon you don't think I was suggesting the entire show be about Mr. Wilson do you? They do a ton of takeaways where they visit a player with his family at home, or a player gets married, or a road trip. The M.C. gives all kinds of story lines within the confines of following an NFL team through its training camp. I'm saying this show could be a creatively tasteful way to honor Mr. Wilson.

I also suggested this could be possible because the thought is teams don't want to participate and the NFL will eventually mandate a team to be involved. I thought the NFL and HBO could have a nice pitch if it's sold to the Bills as "we'll do a nice job of honoring Ralph Wilson".

The bills are one of I believe 8 teams that fit the criteria that would allow the nfl to mandate they do it
