The interior white part is the kernal - which is what you use to predict your winter. If it is a fork, it will be a mild winter. If it is a knife it will be very cold. A lot of the old ways may have a lot of myth to them but they also have some half truths. When the sun feels stingy, it's going to rain. Over time this helps clothes get cleaner. well, yeah, there is that... You can do this in coffee makers and dishwashers...but with clothes it removes the smoke smell, odors, and some organic stains. Both my bro and bro in law fight forest fires. They normally go for maybe a week, sometimes never, during the summer months. This summer they were only HOME for maybe a week or two.
