The Steel Curtain was a play on the Iron Curtain, and since Buffalo has nothing to do with either metal nor the Eastern Bloc, then nicknaming the D-Line anything "curtain" is just downright trite! My name for the new offensive line is..."The Block Party". Overall I think of this team as "The Island of Misfitz"...with Fitz being the bearded Charlie in the box, Fred, Stevie, etc. being late picks and such still looking for respect and recognition. I made a nice cartoon poster of this for a game last year but alas they would not let me hang it on the stadium wall.
