PTR Not to pile on - or take anything away from peters, who I believe is still better than Bell at this point - but wasn't this basically the same criticism of him while he was here? Once he got it in his head that he "deserved" more, it was over. And the nail in the coffin was Philly paying him. It's all downhill from there. Of course, he got his money so what does he care? KUDOS to the Bills front office on this. There was nothing else they couldve done. Peters and Parker did this all on their own. Writers, radio guys...etc were on him all last year for being lazy, unmotivated and really just not playing well. They are not happy with his play right now. I swear he's got an alarm that goes off every time Peters' name is taken in vain. Thurman#1 lives in Japan, he doesn't come on till late, and I think DarthICE is more likely debating whether to hang himself or just swallow a bunch of pills since Trent is going to be our starting QB opening day. The team has holes on defense, very inconsistent offensive line, untested running backs, and an untested QB. Kudos to the front office on this one. i just dont understand how anyone could blame the Bills for what happened. it was THE BILLS that took a chance on JP after he went undrafted. it was THE BILLS that found a spot for him on the roster before he was ever switched to Oline. it was THE BILLS who taught him how to play line. it was THE BILLS who renegotiated his contract, years before it was due. it was JP and EP who decided that none of that meant anything to them, and held the team hostage until they got what they (unfairly and undeservedly) wanted. it was JP who showed up out of shape and not ready to play (which im sure helped cause that injury that everyone uses as an excuse). it was JP who ADMITTED his head wasnt in the game because of "money/contract issues" (even though he was making over a million dollars a year already, and was only 2-3 years into a contract he signed) regardless of how JP has played in Philly, how was this ever on the Bills "for letting the Peters situation go bad and trading him away"?
