Reading this thread was like attending a family reunion. Lots of great people I haven't seen in awhile, a couple of second cousins who tried to make a scene and even drunk Uncle Beerball who tried to touch me in the coat room.

See ya'll in 5 years.

Seriously, on the others, I agree they were characters who added something to the collective. Not that I particularly like having them around, but they were legitimate entities (not so sure about Spiked, though). But I think in all cases where types like that were banned, they were banned for clear reason. You or I may have missed the particular incident that broke the camel's back, but we have pretty lax moderation here. If you were banned, it isn't simply because you were disagreeable. And I believe many of those banned are back (or have come back at one time) under new handles.
I have no problem with the mods having to take action re: banning, mostly because you're right, I don't know the 'straw that broke the camel's back'. But in most cases, it was pretty easy to see who the douchebags were that ran them off the board.

No, I don't remember you running anyone off either... I would skim through that NJ Sue homework thread again to be sure, but it's not worth it, I've already got you labeled based on other things.

It will be a great loss (especially to my Sunday mornings) if Lori's pregame reviews are a thing of the past. They are better than anything out there.

That said, the line about thin skin making typing painful was just plain funny.

I met Spiked at a game before he was sent away, he was the same in person as he was on the board.

Then, there are people such as Lori, BADOLBILZ, Simon, R.Rich, and some others that take it to another level. AKC is one of those people and imo, posters like this separate TBD from other sites.

Think about it.....why DID this site grow to this extent, despite the horrid performance of the Bills both on the field and in the front office? There are lots of reasons, but posters such as AKC come into play. This obviously is jmo.

Quoted for truth!

I love when you bastards come out to play.

I was at the Nevada / Reno Wolfpack Campus last week and was by the the Mackay Stadium and the gate was open so I walked in just to look around - nice little WAC field

Finally someone noticed and said - can I help you ?

I said, "No - just here scouting" - I was wearing a PENN STATE T-shirt - One for Lori

They're still probably trying to figure that one out

I just returned from a two week vacation and saw this thread. Hopefully Lori's just taking some time off too.

I have nothing new to add to the abundance of posts singing Lori's praises, but felt compelled to post in support of her. Lori's articles, posts and moderation would all be huge losses to TBD/TSW if she walked away.

Edit: Aug 13 Article by Lori (Welcome back!): http://www.twobillsdrive.com/buffalo-bills...ameday-preview/

"On The Lamb" is probably the first article I ever read on TBD. That, or "Kultarr's Pouch".

And if we get a Kultarr sighting out of this thread, I'm buying lottery tickets.

Tim and Lori (and jw, and others) have direct contacts within the organization. The right to express an opinion does NOT put make one equal to those with real information. The right to be heard does not equate to the right to be taken seriously.

Great post.

I just read through most of the posts in this thread... Even if Lori is gone for good, (which I really doubt), I do think she'd have a smile on her face reading it. There's a lot of names of posters I have enjoyed reading over the years, present in this thread...
