Astrobot
Assume no big name free agent signings (Dansby, McNabb) have been made, TO is let go, and the Bills stick with a 4-3 as base defense. PushthePile
Bulaga- quality OT and another quality move towards building a solid O-line. Pike- high potential QB, who could be in the mix for starting right away or down the road. McCluster- explosive and dynamic playmaker. His stock is rising fast and I doubt he's available this late. Schofield- good rushing OLB and could contribute from Day 1 McCluster's stock will rise and fall all the way to April. My take right now is that McCluster's diminutive size makes him a Roscoe Parrish type player--darting water bug, good punt returner, likely hurt when he plays over the middle with the big boys. I like your picks, though, and hope that Pike falls to RD2#41...

I like your picks, though, and hope that Pike falls to RD2#41... You're probably right on McCluster's stock going up and down. I don't think the Bills could afford taking him in the second round but to me he is worth the risk in round three. Durability is always a concern when dealing with players his size. Keep in mind that Dexter had 181 carries last season, (6.5 average) in the SEC. Down the stretch his workload was expanded and his carries for the last five games were 22, 22, 25, 24, and 16. Mix in 44 receptions on the year and I think he is more accomplished and proven than Roscoe Parrish, who had 42 receptions and 9 carries his final year of college. If McCluster is used as a changeup RB/WR, I think he could be a solid weapon for an NFL team.

Bflojohn
I don't think Gresham is dropping to the 2nd round folks, he is a prototype recieving TE along the lines of Tony Gonzales, IMO. IF, and that's a HUGE IF, he were there in the second round, pick 41, RUN up to the stage at Radio City Music Hall and DRAFT HIM!!! As it's constituted on your board, here's my selections. 1st round- Dan Williams, DT/NT, Tennessee 2nd round- (under the assumption Gresham is GONE!) Tyson Alualu, DE, Cal 3rd round- Jordan Shipley, WR, Texas 4th round- Dan LeFevour, QB. Central Mich. My rationale.... Williams will anchor a 3-4 and hybrid defense for years, well worth the pick, Alualu is the speed rusher that the Bills lack, at the present time (production being the key). Shipley is the Bills version of Wes Welker, and THAT is not a bad thing. When he helps our new hotshot signal caller get first downs, we will welcome Dan LeFevour as our next great QB!! Astrobot
Astro,Is the kid from Citadel available in rd 3 or 4 (or even 5?) I think you mean the WR that came up big in practices this week, Andre Roberts. Roberts was the most consistent route-runner of the day. He even made Jarrett Brown look good. He had to contort his body in midair on a wide slant route to catch his pass LOL. He's hard to bump at the line due to quick feet. Bob Rang and Chad Reuter say he's Top 100, and it's a deep draft for WR, so 4th Round is likely with his good week.
