  1. I really like how Bell gets to the 2nd level in his run blocks. He's strong & fast and will improve with every game under his belt. It's extremely hard to believe that he's only been playing football for 4 years, that's really amazing at how far he's progressed.
  2. The way it looks now, the Saints look like the favorites to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. Granted, they played a rebuilding 0-16 Lions team and a reeling Eagles team. With that said, no one can discredit Brees' 9 TD's in 2 games. A lot of Bills fans can say that the Bucs are terrible and they are discrediting the Bills, but from what I've seen over the last 2 games, we're a better team than last year. It's nice to finally be scoring 20+ points a game instead of 10-13 points a game, which we've seen for how many years now. IMO, the key to beating the Saints will be having long-time consuming drives on offense and get constant pressure on Brees. If the Bills lose to the Saints, I won't be disappointed, just as the loss is within 10 points. If we get blown out, then that's a different story. So far in the AFC East, the Bills have the most points scored (57) and most TD's (6), in the AFC the Bills are #2 in those categories (with Baltimore leading both of those categories).

  4. Great game. We could have won that game 40+ to 13 (If Owens makes that catch & Jackson doesn't fumble). IMO, the more games we play this year, the better our offense will be. At this point, it's gonna be hard to bench Jackson when Lynch comes back from his suspension. Did anyone see the ref taking out a defender when Jackson was running to the left side (I believe it was towards the end of the 2nd quarter), I was laughing my azz off.
  5. Bills - 31 Bucs - 20
  6. Between the 20's, I would want Jackson running the ball. Redzone, I would want Lynch running the ball. Overall, I feel Jackson is a better RB, he's great at catching the ball and especially getting yards after the catch. It's very rare that you see Jackosn drop a ball.
  7. My prediction is Bills 31, Bucs 20
  8. Tomo Romo lit up the Bucs D with 353 yards and 3 TD's. That's an encouraging stat for us, hopefully we'll see Trent open it up more with some deep passes. Maybe Trent will finally have his first 300 yard game? Any word on Josh Reed & Steve Johnson's status for Sunday?
  9. I agree, Bledsoe blew it even before kickoff. The coaches wanted Bledsoe to take the kickoff in one direction (the direction all the points were scored in), but Bledsoe took the opposite. It was horrible to see us get burned by backups.
  10. The reality is, the Bills looked better than advertised. Majority of the country, including Bills fans expected us to get blown out. The last time we played the Brady led Patriots, we got destroyed 56-10. We're winning the game for the majority of it. The loss sucks big time, but we have reason to believe that we will be a better team. I do agree that coaching is a big reason why we haven't won as many games as should have. Jauron usually costs us 2 to 3 games a year. But I put this one on McKelvin. Mckelvin tried being a hero and it cost us the game.
  11. I know it didn't, but my point behind the thread is that being a hero (Clemens & McKelvin) costed us two games. The one in '04 made the difference of us not making the playoffs. I hope that's not the case this year.
  12. I agree. We've had to endure a lot of major letdowns.
  13. Last night after seeing McKelvin fumble on the kickoff, it eerily reminded me of the 2005 Season opener vs the Jags. All Nate Clements had to do on 4th down was knock the ball down, instead, he tries to be a hero, go for the INT and gets outmuscled by the Jags WR. The next series, the Jags score a TD and win 13-10. If we would have won that game, we would have been 10-5 going into the season finale vs Pittsburgh, already having a wild card berth. Last night, instead of doing the smart thing and kneeling down 4 yards in the endzone, McKelvin tried being a hero and screwed up big time. I hope this game doesn't cost us a shot at the playoffs like in did in 2005.
  14. I know McKelvin had a great year last year, but he looked terrible last night. Fumbling 2 kickoffs, 1 recovered by us for a 15 yard gain and the obvious gamebreaker. I think the Bills should seriously consider McGee taking kickoffs again. Your thoughts...
  15. Didn't hear about the hamstring. Thanks!
  16. I only saw Reed catch the ball once, but didn't see or hear his name called after that. Did they even use Steve Johnson last night?
  17. Nice to see him rebound and have a great game last night. I have to eat some crow today, since I was bashing Schobel heavily in the offseason. What I was really impressed with was the hits our D was putting on Brady. It's nice to see consistent pressure on the QB. I didn't like that we went to a prevent defense on the last 2 drives, that was a dumb move on Fewell's part.
  18. McKelvin sucked tonight and cost us the game. It's time to put McGee back at kick returns.
  19. Bell had too many drive killing penalties, but we still played good enough to win. McKelvin blew it!!
  20. McKelvin....YOU F@!KIN' IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU'RE A DUMB ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kneel the god damn ball when you're 3 yards in the end zone!!!!!
  21. I agree, what a douchebag!!!!
