  1. In reply to the title of the thread "Biggest Problem?", the biggest problem on this team is at DE. You are right, we do need a C.
  2. I blame that one on Regis for not getting enough talent around Hasek. With Hasek on the Sabres, we should have won multiple Stanley Cups. Thanks Regis & family, I hope you're all enjoying your jail cells!
  3. Well at least he's looking into getting it taken care of. Look at how long Schobel has been screwing around with his injury? The reports last week said they'll determine if he needs surgery in February and if surgery is needed, he'll have to rehab for at least 6 months. So the guy gets paid $8.7 million a year, he will miss a good part of 2 seasons? Trade or cut him, the DE position is suffering because of this. Now with the QB situation, bring in a veteran QB to help Edwards out (in case he is not ready to go right away). It's still too early to give up on Edwards. Besides Evans, who do we really have as a receiving threat that could change the game and make a huge difference...No One!!! Give Edwards a couple more weapons and if he still can't get the job done, then it's time to look for another QB.
  4. It would be a trip to see him with a mohawk, spider face paint and spiked shoulder pads!! I miss the Road Warriors, those guys were awesome!
  5. I agree that he should get a new contract, but at what price? Do you pay him the same as Long (the rookie LT from Miami) at $11.5 million a year? That's too much. I'd say $7 to $8 million tops.
  6. First off, Peters getting voted to the pro-bowl this year was a joke. He didn't play well for the 1st half of the season (due to his holdout), so do you really think the Bills FO are gonna deal with that again? Absolutely not. I agree that we shouldn't get rid of the few valuable players we have, but not if these players are gonna be primadonna's and hold out. IMO, we should trade Peters and cut Schobel. Schobel might have to go through surgery in February and then go through another 6 months of rehab, so he won't be ready for the season. He's not worth the $8.7 million dollars a year he is getting paid. Our pass rush sucks, we need new DE's. Look at what the Ravens did to Pennington with pressure, 4 INT's & caused a fumble between Pennington & their RB.
  7. Peters for a first rounder. If we don't trade him, he will hold out again.
  8. That would be nice. I would like to see the Bills FO pick up a WR, TE & DE in free agency and pull in the rest during the draft.
  9. If the price tag to move a team is really between $600M to $900M (as discussed in another thread), I really don't see anyone moving this team or any NFL team for that much. The team will most likely go for anywhere between $800M to 1 Billion dollars whenever Ralph dies, so if you add another $600 to $900M, you're looking at anywhere from $1.4 Billion to $1.9 Billion dollars on purchasing and moving an NFL franchise.
  10. I loved how no one was going up to Willis after the game and saying "good game", he looked lost out there afterwards. Haha, he burned his bridges in Baltimore and will most likely be playing somewhere next season. I can't see him being a full-time starter long-term for any team, he'll probably have one decent season, then either get injured or start his primadonna B.S. again. Either way, glad Trash is out of here.
  11. My point exactly. Bills FO put Schobel on IR, so they should have explored the surgery option then.
  12. http://www.sportscity.com/NFL/Buffalo-Bills-Salaries It's disgusting what some of these guys are making.
  13. You're right, some people take it to the extreme. There's no way in hell I'm burning my Bills merchandise!! But I still might cancel the NFL package though, it all depends on what moves are made in FA & the draft. I cancelled the NHL package last year when the Sabres failed to resign Drury and/or Briere, I just don't know if I could take another year of Jauron ball.
  14. LMAO!!! I say that to my kids when I hear them crying if they can't get want they want.
  15. Especially these: Aaron Schobel(DE) $0 $8,729,795 $0 $0 $0 NO Derrick Dockery(OL) $0 $6,356,720 $0 $0 $0 NO Langston Walker(OL) $0 $6,006,720 $0 $0 $0 NO Chris Kelsay(DE) $0 $5,000,000 $0 $0 $0 NO
  16. I agree with your assessment. Out of the 18 players listed, only 8 have earned their pay.
  17. Bills salaries for 2008: http://www.sportscity.com/NFL/Buffalo-Bills-Salaries
  18. Or Ko Simpson, don't you know...he's worth millions!!
  19. If they were able to get Peppers or Suggs then nobody could say that were paying an average player pro-bowl type money. It would be nice if we picked up a DE in FA plus drafted a DE in the 1st round as well.
  20. I agree that we don't need average players and throw them pro-bowl type of money.
