  1. At best, a 5th round pick, nothing more for Kelsay. Kelsay is a 2nd or 3rd stringer, not a starter. If Schobel doesn't have a better year this year, then we should cut or trade him and get rid of his $8.7M a year contract.
  2. I like the move. IMO, Fred Jackson will get a new contract by the start of the season. I think the Bills FO are saving their money for their draft picks first, then will deal with Jackson.
  3. Hit people with Marshawn's car
  4. The Eagles will pay him, but he'll holdout again when he sees someone making more money than him in 2-3 years. PHUQ PETERS!!!!!!
  5. I'm glad his ungrateful azz is out of here. He's an ungrateful piece of sh@t!!!! If it's wasn't for us, he'd be out of the NFL already. If anyone disagree's, answer this...how many 340lbs Tight End's are there in the NFL? His holdout hurt the O-line big time last year. Peters was a cancer and I'm glad he's gone.
  6. I agree with you about his style of play. I was hoping they would try and trade Schobel, that way we could dump his huge salary and get something in return for him. In '07, Schobel had 6.5 sacks. Last year, the Bills FO thought process was, if they got better DT's, that would free up the DE's. Well, the only one creating consistent pressure last year was Stroud, not our DE's. If Schobel doesn't rebound this year, then it's time to get rid of him.
  7. I'm hoping Schoebel will have a comeback season this year. But if he continues to play the way he did the last 2 seasons (granted he was injured last year & only played 5 games), then it's time to cut Schoebel & his huge contract loose and look for better options at the DE position. When you're playing against Brady twice a year, we need all the pressure on him as possible. Otherwise, we'll continue to lose to the Pats twice a year.
  8. BILLINGS, Mont. - Former NFL running back Travis Henry has reached a plea agreement in a federal drug case. In court papers filed Tuesday, Henry's attorney, Harvey Steinberg of Denver, said his client and prosecutors had reached an agreement. However, the filing does not say what charges Henry intends to admit to. U.S. District Judge Richard Cebull scheduled a change-of-plea hearing for April 16. Henry, 30, a former Denver Broncos player, and co-defendant James Mack, 29, were arrested in Sept. 30 in the Denver area. They were charged with conspiracy to possess cocaine with intent to distribute, two counts of possession with intent to distribute and distribution of cocaine. Prosecutors allege the two had plotted to supply at least five kilograms of cocaine to customers in the Billings area. They were arrested in an undercover operation after a traffic stop in Montana led to the arrest of an associate. Mack, of Bow Mar, Colo., has pleaded not guilty and his trial is scheduled for April 27. The court has set an April 6 deadline to file any plea agreements. Henry, of Frostproof, Fla., played one season with the Broncos on a four-year, $22.5 million contract before he was released in June 2008. He was with the Tennessee Titans in 2005-06 and had played the previous four seasons for the Buffalo Bills, earning Pro Bowl honors in 2002. Henry played his college football for Tennessee.

  10. You're a day late with the April Fools jokes.
  11. I got a response from Chris Brown (BB.com) and he said that the chances of Hargrove rejoining the Bills are slim & none.
  12. I agree with your post 100%
  13. Vick & his brother are both pieces of sh@t. I hope he gets banned from the NFL. I understand that people make mistakes and should be given a second chance, but not all mistakes can be forgiven. What Vick & his cronies did was brutal & disgusting, plus Vick lied his ass off to Roger Goodell & Arthur Blank. What a great role model Vick is for kids?! So what, he has a ton of talent, but so does Travis Henry.
  14. I think Mike's brain has been infected by rabies from one of his dogs. Like the author said, the league minimum for his years in the NFL is what he'll likely get.
  15. Cincinnati & Detroit have had the worst luck in the past. This is a little off the topic, but the biggest boneheaded move of all-time had to been when Mike Ditka traded all of his draft picks that year, plus the following years 1st round pick to the Colts for Ricky Williams. What a waste for the Saints!
  16. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/ I'm not into college football, but I do watch the draft to see who we get. How good is Andre Smith and would he available at the #11 spot? IMO, DE should be top priority, but if we trade Peters, then LT is just as important.
  17. I just hope this year that Schonert will use Lynch more in the redzone than Jackson. I think the addition of T.O. will open up the other WR's, plus free up the run game some more.
  18. I'm sure the Bills would love to sign him and are trying to do that, but they can't afford the price tag that Peters wants. Peters wants to be paid at least $12 million a year, maybe more, sorry but he's not gonna get that here in Buffalo.
  19. Looks like a trade with Philly is looking more like a reality. I doubt the Bills will offer him more than $10 million a year and I don't think Peters & his group will budge on their expectations.
  20. I think Brady is going to struggle this year. Everyone that had his type of knee injury has either taken a few years to get back to their previous level of performance, or they haven't recovered at all. McNabb finally looked good last season, it took him about 3 years. Culpepper & Palmer haven't been the same since their knee injuries/surgeries.
  21. We were on the goal line until Andre Reed decided to be a douchebag and hit the ref with the ball because the ref didn't signal "touchdown". So, Reed gets a personal foul penalty & a game ejection. That's on Reed, not Flutie. If Flutie had it 1st and goal from the goaline, he would have been able to punch it in. But instead, Flutie faced a 4th and goal from the 6 yard line and got creamed. Reed was a veteran WR and should have kept his composure. And with this crap that Johnson won us the game, he left :16 seconds left on the clock after the kick. Flutie would have waited to call timeout with about :03 seconds left, that way once we kicked the FG, the game would have been over. Another bone-headed decision. Bottom line, Flutie got screwed. We gave up a 1st round draft pick & gave Johnson a 5 year, $20+ million dollar contract, so I'm sure there was pressure from Ralph & Butler to get Johnson in there, one way or another. If they wanted to get Johnson in there so badly, they should have put Johnson in half-way through the season, and not tell Flutie he's being rested for a meaningless 16th game, then get the rug pulled out from him and having the starting position taken away. That was total B.S. Johnson was a bust and Flutie had his limits.
  22. Yeah, well Andre Reed made it a lot harder on Flutie with his dumb ass penalty. I'm sure Flutie could have gotten the score with the ball 1st goal on the one instead of 1st goal at the 15 yard line.
  23. Peters & his agent already stated that Peters wants to be the highest paid LT in the NFL (including Jake Long at $11.5M a year). So at minimum, he wants $12M a year, sorry he's not worth $12M a year and he's not going to get it here in Buffalo. So, before anyone starts bashing me, I agree that the Bills need Peters at that position, but they can't break the bank on him either. QB's should be making $12M a year, not O or D linemen.
