Mark Sanchez is screwed
Jerry Jabber replied to Tim Anderson's Lunch Pail's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We were on the goal line until Andre Reed decided to be a douchebag and hit the ref with the ball because the ref didn't signal "touchdown". So, Reed gets a personal foul penalty & a game ejection. That's on Reed, not Flutie. If Flutie had it 1st and goal from the goaline, he would have been able to punch it in. But instead, Flutie faced a 4th and goal from the 6 yard line and got creamed. Reed was a veteran WR and should have kept his composure. And with this crap that Johnson won us the game, he left :16 seconds left on the clock after the kick. Flutie would have waited to call timeout with about :03 seconds left, that way once we kicked the FG, the game would have been over. Another bone-headed decision. Bottom line, Flutie got screwed. We gave up a 1st round draft pick & gave Johnson a 5 year, $20+ million dollar contract, so I'm sure there was pressure from Ralph & Butler to get Johnson in there, one way or another. If they wanted to get Johnson in there so badly, they should have put Johnson in half-way through the season, and not tell Flutie he's being rested for a meaningless 16th game, then get the rug pulled out from him and having the starting position taken away. That was total B.S. Johnson was a bust and Flutie had his limits. -

Yeah, well Andre Reed made it a lot harder on Flutie with his dumb ass penalty. I'm sure Flutie could have gotten the score with the ball 1st goal on the one instead of 1st goal at the 15 yard line. -
Peters & his agent already stated that Peters wants to be the highest paid LT in the NFL (including Jake Long at $11.5M a year). So at minimum, he wants $12M a year, sorry he's not worth $12M a year and he's not going to get it here in Buffalo. So, before anyone starts bashing me, I agree that the Bills need Peters at that position, but they can't break the bank on him either. QB's should be making $12M a year, not O or D linemen.

Flutie didn't lose the playoff game vs the Dolphins, you can blame Eric Moulds on his fumble, or the one I remember the most was when Andre Reed thought he had a touchdown and the ref called him down at the goal line, so Reed throws the ball which hit the ref in the back, causing Reed to get a game ejection and a 15 yard personal foul penalty. So instead of being 1st and goal at the goaline, it's 1st and goal at the 15 yard line. Yes, the kickoff coverage lost that game, but throwing in a new QB at the end of the season caused a lot of problems with the O-Line and it cost us a safety in the 1st half of the game vs the Titans. Sorry, I pissed in your corn flakes. I know you loved Rob Johnson. -

The correct answer is Johnson was a bust and Jacksonville used our 1st round pick to get Fred Taylor. I would of rather had Fred Taylor for 10 years instead of Rob "I fallen and can't get up" Johnson for the 3 years he was here. -

Rob didn't take us to the playoffs, Flutie did. As Flutie said, he drove the majority of the race and was told to pull over and let Johnson finish the last laps. To end all speculations on Flutie & Johnson, Wade Phillips finally admitted that "In hindsight, Doug would have won us the game" (during the Top 10 QB feuds on the NFL network). I thought it was hysterical at the end of that program, when Rich Eisen was laughing in disbelief and said "Rob Johnson was involved in a QB feud?!" -
Tim, Hello & thanks for your time. If things work out with Terrell Owens this year, do you see the Bills offering him a multiple year contract at the end of the season? Thanks!

A majority of Bialy's articles, I either read the topic line or maybe a few lines of the 1st paragraph and that's about as far as I get. Rarely does Bialy have a good article, I just mainly comment with the other guys that post on there. The last writer, Connor Byrne was a decent writer and I liked his articles. Believe it or not, Bialy actually had a good article on Peters today. But, it will probably be weeks or months until he writes another good one. -

What's this about a 3-way? Does it involve Jenny McCarthy, Angelina Jolie & Selma Hayek?

I actually enjoy talking to the other people who comment on there, I just wish RF365 would get a different writer for the Bills or TBD could stop posting RF365's articles on the main page. -

I quit reading this douchebag's articles, but everyday since we signed T.O. this moron Anthony Bialy has had a post about T.O., mainly negative. There are plenty of hop topics going on and this idiot continues his tirade over T.O. Do we need to e-mail the moderators on TBD to get RF365 off of the main page? -
If this is the case, does this put more pressure on the Bills FO to sign Peters instead of trying to trade him? It would be great if we could trade for Peppers. IMO, we need 2 DE's, not just one. Kelsay & Denney can't get a sniff of the QB and Schobel hasn't done much since 2006 (yes, I know he was injured last year, but he only had 1 sack in 5 games).
-
Last word I heard about him was the Bucs were offering a one year deal and he was going to meet with the Bills today about getting a 2-3 year contract. Anything new on his status?

I agree, Bialy uses these ridiculous analogies in his stories. I guess that's his way of being creative, but it's annoying and childish. -
Travis Henry - 11 kids now

That douchebag needs it. What a waste, Travis was one of the best RB's in football, but as a person, he's a huge piece of sh@t!! -

Good points, but here's a big difference. Evans, Reed & Parrish are all between 5'9" and 5'11". Shorter WR's normally can't shake the double teams. How many games did Evans have last year in which he only caught 1 to 3 passes a game? IMO, Evans is a 1B receiver, not 1A. Our WR's are mainly deep threats, not red zone threats. Perfect example, when Peerless Price was traded to Atlanta to be the #1 WR, he failed because he was too short & couldn't shake the double teams. Banking on a rookie WR to make an impact was a big gamble that didn't pay off last year. Getting a tall physical WR is exactly what we've been needing. I think Edwards numbers will improve with T.O. on the team. I think Evans will put up his best numbers to date and the rest of our WR's will have better numbers as well. Plus, this will open up the run game more as well. Teams will not be able to double cover both Evans & Owens. Getting back to your point on the better QB. Let's see how well Romo & Cassell do this year. Cassell had Moss, Welker & a solid O-line, let's see how he does this year in KC. Romo will have Roy Williams, not T.O., let's see if he does better or worse.
