  1. I remember hearing the same things about Malcolm Kelly last year before the draft combine. I think people should reserve some judgment on these players coming out of college until they go through the NFL combine.
  2. This team needs fine tuning, not cleaning out & rebuilding. Offensive fine tuning: A legitimate #2 WR (Greg Jennings or T.J. Houshmanzadeh would be great) A #1 TE. Maybe Derek Fine can step into that role, but Robert Royal has to go A Center. Weak link on the O-Line A backup QB. Preferably a veteran that can guide Trent Edwards and has the ability to step in if TE gets injured and win. Defensive fine tuning: Establishing a decent pass rush. Would bringing in a stud DE help Schobel regain his probowl form? It's possible. Regardless, our pass rush is the weakest link on this team. Linebacker. With the Bills FO putting Crowell on IR, it sent a message to him that he is no longer wanted and will not be back next year. Ellison is a backup, so this area needs to be addressed either in FA or the draft.
  3. http://www.nfl.com/standings?category=league At the moment, we would draft at the #12 spot. If we finish at 6-10, we'll most likely draft between 8th-11th. Our Pass Defense is at 11th with virtually no pass rush. The pass rush problem really stuck out like a sore thumb this year so I think the Bills will address it with either bringing in a FA DE or one in the draft. It would be nice if we traded Schobel and got something in return (plus it would be nice not to have his $8+ million a year salary), but the coaches are high on him, so I don't see that happening. I could see the Bills taking the hit and either cut Denney or Kelsay loose (most likely Kelsay). http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?tab...mp;d-447263-n=1
  4. I agree, I've felt our pass rush has been a problem for a few years now. I feel we need better DE's and if we could land Haynesworth, that would be a big boost to the D-Line. Hargrove is better than Kelsay & Denney, when he was starting (either when Kelsay or Denney was injured- I forget exactly who), we were getting sacks. I know his year suspension is up at the end of the year, but I don't know if he's still under contract, plus with him getting suspended multiple times, it would be a huge risk bringing him back. I'd love it if we could either get Julius Peppers or draft a stud DE in the draft. IMO we need 2 DE's.
  5. I agree. That would be a dream scenario. If that did happen, we could be the 2000 Ravens that won the Superbowl. Their Defense & Special teams took them to the Superbowl & won it for them. Their offense just did enough to get the job done.
  6. The old saying goes, defense wins championships. If we could get Haynesworth paired up with Stroud, plus a stud pass rusher, we'll have one of the best defenses in the league. I think Haynesworth & Stroud could have the potential to be the best DT tandem in the league.
  7. 2001: 3-13 2002: 8-8 2003: 6-10 2004: 9-7 2005: 5-11 Wins: 31 Losses: 49 Great record that a "true football guy" Donahoe had with us. Mort is a dumb ass!!!
  8. I'm sorry, I didn't know you had a crush on Losman. I liked Losman and thought after the 06' season that he finally was going to be our franchise QB but it didn't happen. His play this year has been horrendous, which is why I'm glad he's been demoted to 3rd string QB.
  9. I'd rather take a coach that had previous head coaching experience and was fairly successful, compared to the coordinators we had as HC and skeletor who had 1 good season as HC. I would welcome Schottenheimer, Mariucci or Cowher.

  11. I like Greer but I doubt he'll get resigned by us. Ralph doesn't shell out big bucks to CB's so I doubt Greer will be on the team next year.
  12. That put a bright spot in my day. Thank God that Loseman has taken his last snap as a Bill.
  13. Hey JP, while you're at it, can you come over my house and help me on garbage days?

  15. That's a good one! Regardless if he steals other peoples material, he was a cool guy to meet and thanked me for my service to our country (was on active duty in the Marines at that time).
  16. I'd love to see us sign Haynesworth & Peppers. That would be a monster line: Peppers, Stroud, Haynesworth & Schobel. Doubt it would happen, but would be great if it did.
  17. No more drafting WR's, if we're gonna bring in a WR we should go after T.J. Houshmanilli (championship) or Greg Jennings. Wr's take anywhere from 2-4 years to develop. Our pass rush is a joke, we need an impact DE, hopefully we can get one in the 1st round or via FA. It's too early to give up on Edwards, so we should bring in a veteran backup QB. Offensive needs: WR, TE, C, backup QB Defensive needs: DE, LB, S
  18. He means he had a season ticket for the Rogers Centre not the Ralph
  19. When Losman fumbled the tire iron, he ended up tripping over it which led to Ellis being able to runaway with the tire.
  20. Jauron is a character, Skeletor from the He-Man cartoons. Lynch is the Predator (Predator movies) Edwards is Mr. Glass (from Unbreakable) Walker is Jabba the Hut
  21. I remember back in the mid 90's when Shredd & Ragan (from 103.3 The Foxx/Edge) would have a contest called "Don't Be A Dick". They would call random people in the phonebook with the name Richard and ask to speak to their wife (or ask them) what do you call your husband, "Richard" "Rich" or "Dick". If it was anything else besides "Dick" that person won a prize, but if that person said "Dick" then they would lose and Shredd & Ragan would say "thanks for playing Don't be a Dick". Too bad they couldn't do a spinoff of that now with Dick Jauron.
