  1. If Owens averaged just 52 yards per game, that would be 832 yards for the year. That's still a lot better than what the rest of our WR's did. If he can still keep his TD's at 10+ a year, that will win us a few more games and put us in playoff contention.
  2. Thank you! I agree, it's 1 year, if it works great, if not, then we can move on.
  3. For anyone that thinks signing T.O. is bad & is going to tear this team apart, look at last years stats: Owens: Rec-69, Yrds-1,052, TDs-10 Now look what our receivers did: Evans: rec-63, yrds-1,017, TDs-3 Reed: rec-56, yrds-597, TDs-1 Parrish: rec-24, yrds-232, TDs-1 Johnson: rec-10, yrds 102, TDs-2 Hardy: rec-9, yrds-87, TDs-2 Owens had more yards & receptions than Evans. Owens had more TD's than all of our WR's combined (our WR's had 9 total). Adding another 1,000+ yard, 10 TD+ receiver is the best thing for this offense. Yes, it comes with baggage, but, I'm sick of losing twice a year to NE, going 0-6 in the division last year and sick of not making the playoffs every year for the past 9 years.
  4. This Frank...Frank Rizzo. Huh?! FRANK RIZZO!!! Open your F@!ckin' ears, JACKASS!!!
  5. He'll work circles around ya...he'll wrap your f@!kin' head in with a ratchet!!! Enough of getting other teams scraps.
  6. http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/ This site seems to break news the fastest.
  7. Dan Snyder has been playing fantasy football with the Skins since he bought them and it hasn't worked. The Skins' problems are on offense, not defense. Now, DT's that think they're as good as Haynesworth are gonna want to get paid like him too. Thanks Danny!!
  8. Rob Johnson. He won 1 game in the 2001-2002 season, Van Pelt won the other 2 in that 3-13 season.
  9. Dan Synder needs to quit playing fantasy football with his own team.
  10. Thanks!!! I agree, the refereeing was the worst I've seen in a Superbowl.
  11. Where is Charlie the Butcher located at?
  12. My point is that in the last 2 Superbowls that the Steelers were in, the refs favored the Steelers. I'm not saying their calls caused the Cards to lose, but it was blatanly obvious with the calls they were making that the refs were favoring the Steelers.
  13. The refs sure showed they loved the Steelers by waiving their own yellow terrible towels. About 50% of the penalties were legit. That roughing the passer call against AZ was horrible...how many times did Warner get blasted and there was no call.
  14. The Sabres blew it big time in the 3rd period last night.
  15. Arizona - 24 Pittsburgh - 20
  16. I agree, that was an amazing performance by the 49ers that game.
  17. If I was still on active duty stationed in Okinawa, I would of had everyone beat. I remember watching the Superbowl Monday morning at 8:am (due to the different time zones & international date line).
  18. Schobel hasn't done anything since his contract extension (6.5 sacks in 16 games in 07', 1 sack in 5 games in 08'), highly overpaid!! Fred Jackson, Josh Reed, very underpaid!
  19. When I was on active duty in the Marines, I had this super obnoxious Steelers fan there. I used to hate coming in on Mondays and hearing ranting & raving about the Steelers, whether they won or lost.
  20. That's what so frustrating about it. Both teams have die-hard fans, but the owners are completely opposite.
  21. I've been to downtown Pittsburgh, The Strip district and some of the surrounding areas. Pittsburgh is not a booming city anymore (same with Buffalo). I usually run into people from Pittsburgh & Buffalo down here.
  22. I'm glad P.J. Loswoman is going to be out of here. What a bust he was. We need an upgrade at TE, Robert Loyal is not cutting it. Same goes with DE, Chris Chelsea is not getting it done.
