Your reaction to the Browns game
Jerry Jabber replied to DC Tom's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Should have bought more Labatt Blue...I needed more after watching that horrendous display. -
I'd rather have "The replacements" from the actual movie. I'm sure Keanu Reeves, Jon Favreau and the rest of the guys could play better than what we've been seeing from the Bills.
-
I can't even imagine how we're gonna play next week. I'm not gonna even watch. I expect the Bills to lose 30 something to zero.

Time to clean house...again.

After watching the Bills today, I can't help but think back to the Rob Johnson led Bills when we finished 3-13. I think it was Randy Cross that said it, "Trent Edwards hasn't been the same since the hit he took vs the Cardinals last year". There's so many problems with this team. Failure to replace the LT & RT positions, Parrish's huge regression on kick/punt returns, Reed being phased out of the game, Edwards' regression, the strength & conditioning coach, the head coach & GM, the play calling. I'm sorry, but I don't think I can watch anymore Bills football as long as Jauron is the head coach. IMO, we need a good GM & really good head coach (like Schottenheimer or Cowher). But as long as RW owns the team, he's gonna get another "Yes sir, Mr. Wilson" coach, because RW feels he's been burned too many times in the past by either head coaches or GM's. Bottom line...THIS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Until RW dies, don't worry about it. The Bills will be in Buffalo and a will be a mediocre team until RW dies. When RW dies, most likely the team will get better with a new owner. Yes all of us hope the Bills never leave Buffalo, but if that new owner is not Jim Kelly or some kind of group of investors with Jim Kelly, then there's a real possibility that the Bills will be gone. Until RW dies, I'm not gonna worry about it. I'm already tired of hearing that the Bills are going to Toronto or L.A. on the NFL network, sirius radio and other fans (from other teams).

I agree. McKelvin looked good in the pre-season, but not so good in the regular season. Florence looked much better than McKelvin did. I just wish they would put McGee back to kick returns.
-
And Wade botched that up too. Choosing Johnson to start in the playoffs after Flutie got us there was his biggest blunder. Phillips even admitted on the NFL network when they had the top 10 QB controveries, his exact quote: "In hindsight, Doug would have won us the game."
-
I agree. TD came out and said that Bledsoe went against the coaches when it came to choosing which side of the field to take.
-
Ox Baker!! Is he still alive?

The old saying goes: "Defense wins championships." Wish we still had Dick LeBeau.

I work with two Pittsburgh Steelers fans (both from Pittsburgh), and they tell me that the Steelers haven't had a good offensive coordinator since Mularkey. Even though Mularkey wasn't a good head coach, I do miss his offense creativity. He lined Lee Evans all over the field, that way he could get open, instead of just an the outside. One of the best plays I remember seeing from Mularkey, was when Bledsoe started going in on a QB sneak, then threw it back to Trash (McGahee) and Trash ran it 33 yards for a TD.

McKelvin. The weak link?

Last year, we could have used a dominating DE (especially how bad the pass rush last season), that way this season, the DE would have a year under his belt and producing more. -

I'm not sure if the Gruden rumor is true? He was on MNF last night, so if he was in town yesterday, so it would have been a very quick stop, then have to fly half way across the country to Dallas. I don't see how that's possible. I would love to see Bill Cowher or Marty Schottenheimer as our head coach. Both are proven winners and would turn this franchise around. Gruden, he finished the job Tony Dungy started in TB, but went downhill from there. I would love to have Gruden as an OC or at least a consulant. The hottie is So Cal Val. She's a ring valet in TNA Wrestling. I met her a few years ago, she's really nice and very hot. -
To all the Doom & Gloomers out there

Don't look so mighty this year. They look like they could use some "Mighty Taco's". Dolphins went from AFC East champs to 0-3, so there's another team. -

I agree that Jauron is a lame duck as a head coach. I don't think there's a Bills fan that liked it when Levy hired Jauron. I wanted Jauron fired at the end of the season last year, but that didn't happen either. But I'm not ready to throw in the towel on the season already. -
Being a displaced Bills fan, I get a lot of flak from the Skins' & Steelers fans down here. I took a quick glance at some of the newspaper headlines today: "Skins fall to lowly Lions" and "Fail to the Redskins." Can you imagine, losing to a team that has lost 18 games in a row and has not won since 2007? Talk about crushing defeats. And how about the Cleveland game, getting destroyed by the Browns (excuse me) Ravens. The Browns suck big time this year. Bottom line, our offense sucked in one game so far. The season is not over yet, we have time to bounce back. I'd rather be rooting for the Bills than the Redskins & Browns.

If the Saints go to the Super Bowl this year?

I agree we could have won. The defense held Brees to under 200 yards passing & 0 TD's. -
After yesterday's performance by the offense, it's hard to disagree. AVP & Edwards looked like grammar school kids compared to a college professor (Gregg Williams). It seems like Edwards has 2 good games followed by a stinker. I think we can rebound and win the next 2 games before playing the J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS...S-U-C-K SUCK SUCK SUCK!!!!

Scenario 1: If we make the playoffs, lose in the first round and Jauron keeps his job, would you feel satisfied/happy that we made the playoffs or feel that wasn't enough and would want Jauron fired? Scenario 2: We finish 9-7 or 10-6, miss the playoffs and Jauron is retained for another year. Do you feel satisfied/happy or feel that wasn't enough and would want Jauron fired?
