A more experienced DB in that 4th and long that Jefferson made that miraculous catch on in the Vikings game would have punched it out instead of trying to intercept it. A breakup on 4th down would have given us better field position than an interception. That would have basically ended the game.

Diggs caught complaining to McDermott on broadcast

Diggs knows if his lack of targets was because of double coverage or not. He simply may have been suggesting that he gets moved around more to open things up. -

Wawrow hints an Internal Issues with the Bills

My communications with him after his 3:00am posts have been rather interesting and his extreme politics seem to guide his opinions. -
I'm not so convinced that good defense is what won that game for the Vikings but bad defense or mistakes by the Bills that gave the game away. Cam Lewis and his lack of situational awareness when he tried to intercept that pass to Jefferson instead of simply knocking it down was absolutely egregious. Allen's interception in the end zone to end the game in OT was not forced and an absolute unnecessary throw.

Reminds me of the Browns-Bills game 15 years ago in Cleveland. Nowhere near the snow that is predicted now but absolutely a terrible weather game. I went to that game with a friend who had season tickets in the end zone and two other guys. The wind was so strong and blowing directly into our faces that it was impossible to watch without tilting our heads downward. We all lived in Erie then and decided that leaving after the 3rd quarter was the prudent thing to do. We tried walking back to the car with the wind at our backs and that wind was so strong that it forced us to run. After turning 90 degrees we couldn't physically stand up without grabbing on to the parked vehicles. We finally reached our car and headed east to Erie but soon got off I-90 to try to find better weather on Rt 20 and then Rt 5. Visibility was so bad that all four of us were watching what we thought was the road and giving the driver directions. Once we went to the right of a car that we thought was on the road and it was actually off the road to the right. How we survived is a miracle.

Raiders release Jonathan Abram does anyone need a safety

Our defense is designed to compliment our offense when that offense is humming along. We saw that in the Packers game except we didn't do ***** in the 2nd half on offense. -

I met a guy a few days ago that is probably in his seventies who could be Burgess Merediths stand in. -
Let's look at the overall picture. The Bills are designed to get rolling and crush their opponents in the passing game. While their defensive line appeared to have solved last year's problems starting with the Packers game they allowed over 200 yards running. Few people watching or playing in that game could understand the Packer's strategy. They effectively shortened the game while being behind by 3 scores. Giving up rushing yards while being substantially ahead is most likely acceptable assuming that the Bills defense is protecting against the pass/deep pass. Now, we gave up what seems like a lot of rushing yards in both the Green Bay & New Jersey games. If our offense was doing what it was designed to do in the 2nd half of both games then there would have been less rushing by our opponents and more passing into a defense prepared for it. Neither of those teams were going to beat us in a shootout providing we were up to par with our offense. For whatever reason we couldn't score in the 2nd half of those games. In order to fix our defense we need to fix our offense. It would also be very helpful to get our injured defensive players back. Like it or not the Bills are built around Josh Allen. As he goes, we go.

That's like saying nobody eats at that restaurant because they can't find a parking spot and the lines are too long. -
Thank you GB for running your 10 minute offense down by 17 points in the 2nd half.

Before you guys send Mckenzie to the gallows you might want to consider the fact that he might have been still feeling the affects of that concussion he had. Give him a little time. -
If that's the case then your Aunt would be named Marcia Brady.

It would appear that he had 2 concussions within 4 days. The way he stumbled and collapsed after the Milano shove has to tell any reasonable person that it was his first concussion that we know about. The 2nd concussion was like too much of a "bump" and caution should be used before getting him back on the field. -
This is a well reasoned post.

Yes, let's have a $17,000,000 a year safety. Add up the secondary salaries once our new corners become really good and have a 60 million dollar secondary.
