Exaggerations aside, I don’t disagree Edmunds has been excellent in blanketing the middle of the field in pass coverage. Unfortunately regardless of todays game or any other days game Edmunds falls behind Fletcher in the instincts department at this point. I’m an Edmunds believer and hoped they would keep him.

Fletcher, I’m not sure there’s a realistic argument to be made for Edmunds in this scenario.

I think we agree, it’s always been a win for the opposition when Allen hands it off because the Bills haven’t had a stud RB or a great oline since Allen arrived. I think Cook can be a special talent but only if they seriously address the oline, if they don’t then 17 remains the best option every snap IMHO.

I’d personally love to see Josh run or throw on every snap, every time 17 hands the ball off it’s a win for the opposing team. It would be nice if that reality were a lot less predictable by handing it off to a monster. Anything offense in rounds 1-3 is where I’m at.

Let’s not act like making it to the super bowl with Bledsoe was a testament to his supreme coaching, Bledsoe was an excellent QB. That being said, Bellicheat is arguably the greatest defensive coach of all time.

Lol… maybe more reading and less posting is order for those who’ve run out of “football discussion” and now must resort to critiquing other fans ability or willingness to critique players. Yawn
-
Allen is his biggest critic, he owns his poor play every time without failure, as long as he realizes his mistakes and continues to try and improve his game then why in the hell do you care that some fans won’t criticize him ?
-
I understand the frustration.., NO more time to waste is a bit dramatic, I am nearing the end of my patience with McDermott though, we definitely don’t want to be making a habit of poor performances in the playoffs.

No more passes ? what are you going to do if they fall short again ?

Trevon Diggs trying to get his brother in Dallas
julian replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why would you want to force a player to play for a team he has no interest in playing for. You’re running a football team not a plantation. It’s considered the greatest team sport because the rosters are so large and your best players have to want to be there, otherwise it creates divisions within the team. This doesn’t even include every other potential free agent player across the league watching closely as to how players are treated. If I know for sure that forcing a player to play out their contract wouldn’t cause a negative effect on the teams abilities to sign future players including their own free agents then I’m ok with the hard line approach. -
How did the Patriots maintain a top team for 17 years?

Brady and not a single QB in the division for 2 decades -

Didn’t say they’re was. Just stating how I would view the situation if Diggs does in fact think the grass is greener. -

If Diggs wants out so be it, don’t need any players who don’t wanna be in Buffalo.- 184 replies

I don’t think Von realized the level of loyalty most Bills fans demand from their players. When he went on and in about his love for LA and how hard it was to sign in Buffalo, essentially saying it was the money, most fans were rubbed the wrong way. I knew right from the start he was destined to be a whipping boy unless he went off. nobody to blame but himself, I’m hoping he bounces back from injury and helps this team win a title.
-
That “only thing” being Josh Allen is a very nice “only thing” to have and until the rest of the east can find a QB to challenge him, he will continue to win the division year after year barring injury.

Bill's offense highest graded of the weekend Games. Defense second best.

Like McDermott says… this isn’t a soap opera, it’s a football game. It’s obviously an emotional game but I do agree it’s fans and media who tend to focus on everything outside of the x’s and o’s
