I hated when they released him, watching the media give hourly updates on him still remaining on the roster. I was glad Bean took his time, the local media still bashed Bills for not releasing him quick enough, it was disgusting. I totally understood why the Bills had to release him. I’m thinking he’s gonna sign somewhere and play for a decade. I’m happy for him and his family that this nut job money grabber was exposed.

Diggs isn’t the reason this collection of WRs are ranked this low, if not for him it would be bottom 3-5

Certain fans are gonna be scared of Allen injuries for the majority of his career but he’s different from everyone else. His competitive fire won’t allow for him to become cautious until his body sends him the message, the way he’s built and his opponents unwillingness to become posterized seem to point to this aggressive Allen for another 5-7 years. get used to it.

I agree with much of what you’re saying but not all, Brown’s upside is everything to do with his physical skill set, his RAS numbers, his on field personality and his flashes of excellent play, most of which in the run game I concede. Go look up some cover1 film breakdown they’ve done on Browns dominant play at times. My only point I was making to the original poster was I don’t see Ford and Brown as the same player. You point out Brown’s small school origins as evidence of him not being a good player, but it’s that small school past that lends to the idea of needing a little more polish than Ford coming from Oklahoma. Browns may end up washing out, if they replace him this weekend I’m good with the plan. Don’t be surprised if he’s the starter week one because the coaches may have a much different opinion than many who’ve written him off.

To be fair, Ford never had flashes of dominance like Brown has nor did Ford have the upside that Brown has. The reason you can give a young struggling RT time to develop is because you have a Josh Allen who covers up for plenty of Oline deficiencies, you don’t have a statue getting killed on every whiffed block attempt. Im fine with Brown getting another (injury free) training camp to develop and hopefully improve and become the player they hoped he would become. That said, I’m totally fine with them replacing him tonight if that’s the plan, I’m not denying there needs to be an upgrade at that spot.
