  1. Yes, this is silly
  2. Something almost unfathomable... This is the 3rd straight Prime Time loss now, something the Bills and Allen typically have excelled at.
  3. Daboll isn't coming back and his offense had lots of issues too, namely that our run game too often was stuck in the mud for long stretches...let's not look back with rose colored glasses.
  4. I think you are just seeing that it's very hard year to year to be consistently great in the NFL. The odds are stacked against you in every way possible. What the Bills have done is not common, and while some struggles can be seen as a step back, it's really not much different than in 2023 or even 2021 at this point of the season. In 2023 we were 6-6. Nothing matters until the playoffs really. I mean sure the 1 seed would have been nice but that's likely not happening now.
  5. Wouldn't have really mattered as Davis was called for OPI
  6. Doesn't really matter what we think, it's what happens usually. Allen ignites to another level during that time usually. In the 13 seconds season, Allen has the best 2 playoff games combined in NFL history in one post-season. The weeks before that were bad a lot of the time and they really struggled offensively a lot.
  7. It's just a continuation of the 13-11 pattern we have been in for the last 5 years 13 wins and looking unstoppable most games during one season followed by 11 wins the next season with lots of struggles along the way. Then back to 13 the next year. But come playoff time, none of it seems to matter, they kick into gear.
  8. I remember in 2020 when the Bills used to eviscerate the top D's in the NFL.
  9. All good things must come to an end
  10. I mean the Chiefs stocked their D pretty effectively drafting lower than we were.
  11. I mean the Eagles do it far more than the Bills do, as do other teams...it's just a way to fit things under the cap
  12. They allowed 261 yards of offense and 3 points in the 2nd half when a turnover already put them in FG range. Think you are not being realistic. That game was on the offense...they got chance after chance after chance in the 2nd half and kept squandering them.
  13. For reference that was on the 4th and 1 run to Cook that got stuffed when Brady decided to run Cook 4 straight plays and don't get the 1st down...
  14. We don't remember how disjointed and bad Daboll's offense looked at times?
  15. Some of those players will be reworked/extended I'm sure to lower cap hits. I would guess Bosa gets resigned and it's something both sides want to do.
  16. Makes you wonder when the Bills will start fielding a defense anywhere close to this level again.
  17. Likely would have been a different outcome if they were in Buffalo for this game. Sure there would have been pressure but being at home gives them a major advantage with timing the snap counts for them to get off the ball on D, especially on a short week.
  18. Every team is going to have a few good drives a game, it's the NFL
  19. OK, time to accept we aren't winning the division and we are going to need to win a road playoff game for the first time in the Allen/McD era.
  20. Texans only had 261 yards of offense. Not sure what else you expect this D to do.
  21. This was always going to be a hard game on the road against that D on a short week. They already have an advantage at home with the snap count and crowd noise and the short week made it even bigger. Just made too many dumb plays, too many mistakes and some really dumb play calls at inopportune times.
  22. Looks like our 13-11 streak is going to continue. We have alternated 13 win and 11 win seasons for 5 straight years, and its an 11 win season this year if we follow the streak.
  23. Can't blame the D, they kept us in it all 2nd half giving up only 3 points and that was on a turnover that was already in FG range
  24. Imagine a missed XP on the first offensive drive being the difference.
