They also were averaging over 10 yards per play well into the 3rd quarter of that game. The only reason they held them to 27 was Hardman's fumble at the goalline and the offense playing ball possession. That was a little different tho...we had multiple defensive starters AND backups out that game and had AJ Klein who was planning to be in Key West on a family vacation 2 weeks ago starting at MLB and covering Kelce...I mean that's a mismatch and a half...

Why are these idiots out driving when drinking in the first place? Call an Uber...rent a limo...why risk a suspension or killing someone else to be an idiot? -
Is Josh Allen already the best dual-threat QB ever?
Big Turk replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
By the end of his career he will be and the numbers will be so far ahead of anyone else they will be ridiculous. Pretty much to any other fan base than KC we can say to any argument they have "Yeah, but we have Josh Allen and you don't." That says a lot about just how good he is. Josh Allen is on a unanimous first ballot HOF track if he continues playing at this level. I hope nobody ever takes this era for granted because we may never see anything like him again with the Bills once he is gone. -
Thurman also was Offensive POY in the same year he was MVP and made the HOF all 1990s team as well...Kelly was none of those Kelly: Thomas: Not really close, IMO Thomas also led the NFL in yards from scrimmage 4!! Straight years. Reed was probably better than Kelly also, IMO

Bryce Paup anyone?

what about a day with "Cosey Coleman"?

yeah, after he was washed.

Imagine the ROI on that investment...KC would probably be north of $5 Billion today on the market. Actually just calculated it...if the Chiefs were sold for $5 Billion, it would be a 19,999,900% return on investment. Beats the stock market any day.

Why would they cut Johnson? All he did is make something good happen almost every time he touched the ball. Not easy to find players like that and you don't just discard them.
-
I'd even vote Sam Adams was better than Wright. It was a different game back then and Conlan was a perfect player for that era. Also Bryce Paup might need consideration as he led the NFL in sacks with us(something even Bruce Smith never accomplished), was 1st team All-Pro, went to 3 PB's and won DPOY, although he wasn't here too long tho

Yes I generated it in statmuse, but the only thing I could get it to recognize was games played. There were a bunch of outliers with under 70 games played so that's why I set it at that. Couldn't get it to recognize pass completions which would have gotten rid of the others and was the one I actually wanted to use.
-
I put in 70+ games because it included a bunch of others in there that had few attempts just because they were in the league for a while but didn't play much. 500 completions takes out players like Hill who played QB for like half a season but gets credited for all the wins Brees has, and a few others in the same boat. Essentially, it would be no different than accounting for "Qualifying Leaders" like the NFL does, except the requirements are far more lax than they actually would be if it was an official list. Would have just used 500 completions but couldn't get it to recognize that no matter how I asked it. So I just used 70+ games which filtered most of them out, leaving only a few stragglers.

Edwards is a really good player. he doesn't make enough to justify cutting him, IMO

Not today it isn't...Tornado on the ground in Hamburg and East Aurora moving north...tornado watch til 9pm tonight for all of WNY and CNY.

Hmm...StatMuse has him 3rd behind Mahomes... Allen is in pretty great company...if you take out QBs with under 500 pass completions, which seems like a pretty low bar for an actual QB who played a good amount of games, he ranks 12th all time. Ahead of Montana, Stabler, Rodgers and Roethlesberger. Although the fact Jimmy Garrapolo, Jim McMahon and Steve Bono are ahead of him shows this isn't the be all end all list for how good a QB really is.

I'm not sure I would take that version of McCoy over Cook. Cook is electric and is only getting better. 4th in the NFL in rushing and 6th in total scrimmage yards basically playing part time for half the season. Cook has the better YPC and better Y/Rec -
Will the real Josh Allen please stand up?

So they weren't scared against the Bills down with 13 seconds left? That was one of the most improbable wins in playoff history. Same with last year...Bills led almost the entire playoff game.
