  1. Apparently it came in off the Niagara River so it likely was a water spout that moved inland about 1.5 miles.
  2. most tornadoes are doppler indicated now by the signature "Hook Echo", although I am sure they have much better trained spotters in areas with frequent tornadic activity.
  3. Man, I had one of the scariest nights of my life attending my graduation from Fort Hays State University in Hays, KS a few years ago...there was a massive statewide tornado outbreak...came in on the train earlier that morning into Dodge City, then went to Boot Hill and did a few things there and got my rental car and drove up to Hays about an hour and a half north... Literally about 2 hours after I drove thru an area heading north, a town was decimated by a tornado that travelled right across the road I was driving on. Then later that night there were like 20-30 tornadoes all around us and I was freaking the hell out...got back to my room from the bar/restaurant I was at and went to go to sleep...was awoken around midnight by what I could only describe as a jet engine sitting directly over my hotel room and it lasted like 30 seconds...I ran to the window thinking it was a tornado, but nope...just a loud, constant, rumbling noise...then it just stopped... Went back to sleep, got to the graduation the next morning and I was talking to one of the other dudes in line and he grew up there and I asked him what the hell that jet engine sound was last night. And he was like what are you talking about? So I told him what happened and he laughed and was like "Yeah, that hasn't happened in a long time, but I've heard it a few times...it's when there is so much lightning going on that you just get constant, non-stop thunder for a long time..." That was the last time I have been in Kansas and I ain't coming back anytime soon.
  4. this is wild...that's the 9th tornado in the last 2-3 weeks in the area...we probably haven't had that many in the last 5-10 years.
  5. Yes but no team is ever carrying more than one on a game day roster. Let's be real and not speak on hypotheticals.
  6. Damn...that's crazy he is almost 100 🫥
  7. I can't even hate on him...all it shows is that having a positive attitude and working your ass off sometimes is enough even if you aren't very good at it.
  8. Babich said he is "coming along nicely". Which means in coach speak, he isn't any where close to even being on a practice squad right now, but he is way better than he thought a person who never played would be.
  9. Backup safeties are more replaceable in a single game than a kicker.
  10. If a player who has been the most productive player in the history of the NFL over any 4 year period can be overrated, I am not exactly sure how that is possible. This exec must be living in some bizarro universe where Allen is akin to Zach Wilson.
  11. IMO it would make sense to train a position player to do kickoffs like the Chiefs are planning to do with their safety that was their emergency kicker in a game last year. You aren't kicking the ball in the endzone and off of a tee, pretty much any of those players should be able to hit it into that landing zone with a few months of practice. Would give them a huge advantage on coverage teams versus having a kicker trying to make plays and put themselves at risk of being injured. Other thing the NFL should look into is perhaps allowing another position player to be on the field that has stay where the kicker was until he kicks the ball and then runs off the field, then he can get into the play. That would allow the kickers to kick off but not have to risk injury at a critical position where most teams have no viable backup on a game day roster.
  12. Countless players have done that during a course of a game on a single play. Pretty sure plenty of HOFers have done it too.
  13. Tua needs all the help he can get. He relies on smoke and mirrors far more than a true franchise QB should which is laughable that he got the contract he did.
  14. Pretty much...it's what drives me crazy...these people play Madden and because the player ratings don't change when you move then to different positions they think it works that way in real life. Kinda mind blowing.
  15. He's only there to ensure she doesn't become part of the 2nd Olympics after they are done competing...the hot, wild sex Olympics in the Olympic Village. Or maybe he is going to try and sneak out and put his bid in with the one every other guy is going to be after...the Italian Silver Medalist.. https://nypost.com/2021/07/26/the-secrets-of-the-crazed-olympics-sex-culture-its-inevitable/
  16. Better tell that Sherriff to step up his game in Cabot Cove...I mean the town only has like 100 people that live there and every other day someone is getting killed. How hard is it to figure out who did it? 😂 Used to watch that growing up all the time since it was my Mom's favorite show and we only had 1 TV in the house so there wasn't much of a choice
  17. There are multiple times a game where receivers are moving forward while in motion or at least slanting forward instead of running across on pretty much every team...it's never called.
  18. Is it about how to pick up 24 year old cheerleaders? 🤣
  19. Meh...Tua wouldn't even be in the top 30 for me. Simply too limited.
  20. McD told him to hold off making any plans to Key West for January again tho.
  21. Give it a rest with this nonsense.
  22. Looks like it was approved by the FDA in 2018...which was after I was on it.
  23. Oh nice! That must be new because when I was taking it they told me there wasn't anything if that happened. Now there really isn't any reason to be on Warfarin or Coumadin since Eliquis effects are very short in terms of coming off of it for any type of surgery, etc...think you go back to normal in 24-48 hours instead of weeks like the other ones.
  24. Yeah, with stats piled up against bad teams that went for their misdirection and motions. What happened in games against good defenses? The Bills, Chiefs, Ravens, and the first Jets game? What happened when teams said "F it", we are just gonna play your receivers head up and jam them at the line to disrupt the timing and then Tua is gonna have to beat us? He flopped...over and over and over again. Why? Because he has physical limitations that REQUIRE huge windows to be open for him to throw into for him to be good because his arm strength and ability to drive the ball outside the numbers and throw into tight windows is suspect. Your QB cannot be the one holding your offense back in today's NFL if you want to do anything other than be 1 and done at best in the playoffs.
