  1. I think Levitre will re-sign and I think Byrd only stays if he is tagged.
  2. I don't expect to see any of the players come out and say anything negative about Marrone. Its all going to be fluff and butt kissing.
  3. Anyone surprised? Tim is quite thin skinned. He's not bright enough to debate/argue so he runs away and pouts. I never really had any respect for him when he graced TBD with his presence. Not surprising he got dumped by ESPN once they quickly realized his lack of talent and now he's bitter because he is back working in Buffalo and isn't even a beat writer, columnist or radio guest.
  4. I would rather see the Bills hire Horton over Whisenhunt. And if he is not successful, the headline is already pre-written "HORTON HEARS A BOO"
  5. If a guy like Wiz is offered the Bills job and wants the Bills to wait while he "pursues other options", that would make me sick and would be a complete embarassment to the franchise. I would hope that the Bills would immediate tell him where to go and then move on to the next candidate.
  6. I would be perfectly happy if the Bill end up drafting anyone (maybe even 2) of the QBs from this list: 1 11 Geno Smith 1 16 Matt Barkley 1 18 Tyler Wilson 2 39 Ryan Nassib 2 46 Tyler Bray (Jr.,decl) 2 48 Landry Jones 2 59 Aaron Murray (Jr.) 2 60 E.J. Manuel 3 85 Logan Thomas (Jr.) 3 87 A.J. McCarron (Jr.) 4 114 Tajh Boyd (Jr.) 5 147 Mike Glennon I think each of them has strengths and weaknesses and each has a chance to be successful in the league given proper coaching and support. I love the idea of a new coaching staff and a rookie QB coming in at the same time. P.S. - I'm surprised to see Glennon so far down on your list when many people are projecting him as a 1st rounder and potential first QB taken
  7. A better version of Kenny Davis. Keep him
  8. The Bills tend to be pretty quiet though. They interviewed Harbaugh and actually offered him the job 3 years ago and kept it quiet. They hired Chan and nobody even had a clue that he was being considered. Unless Russ is going to be more upfront about the search than the Bills have in the past, we probably will be surprised by whomever they hire because it will not have been reported.
  9. WGR is saying the CBS Sports is reporting that the Bills would like to interview Chip Kelly. I've been listening all day. They have not said that the Bills will definitely interview Kelly.
  10. I'd be fine with Alex Smith on a 2 year deal to keep the seat warm for whatever QB we take in Rd 2 (after getting the best LB in RD1)
  11. Has it been reported anywhere that Buffalo has asked to interview Chip Kelly?
  12. I'd rather have someone like Horton who is unproven instead of someone like Wiz or Lovie who have proven to be mediocre or worse.
  13. I'm intrigued. He was a hot commodity a few years ago. It would be interested to see who he would bring in as his coordinators. I like the idea of having a HC who is not also a coordinator/playcaller on one side of the ball. I know that Russ is well respected around the league. I would be OK with him as long as he has strong coordinators.
  14. I have no interest in Lovie Smith. He seems too similar to Dick Jauron. I want someone more vocal and aggressive.
  15. I think all options will be on the table for the Bills. Move up Move down Stay put and take your guy It really is going to depend on who is available, who other teams take in front of us and how the Bills rank the players. I would be surprised if we trade down. I would not be surprised if we trade up. If the price is not ridiculous, I think the Bills view a trade up (translation; 'aggressive') move to go get their QB of the future as something that would energize the fanbase. Even if it is a bit of a reach. I could see them stay put and take the best player on their board. If that player is not a QB, i think they would then start aggressively trying to trade into a position to get the QB they want.
  16. Yep. This is the real issue. The Bills don't care about cap space. They are not up against the cap. The issue would be the actual expenditure of approximately $7m to keep him. This is real money that can be used to re-sign Levitre and/or Byrd or go out and get a UFA LB. I expect Fitz to be cut.
  17. "You've had extra gloves this whole time?"
  18. You're right. National Championship 4 Straight AFC Championships Inducted into the Pro Football HOF. Yep, Kelly has done nothing.
  19. OK. I'll try it a different way. Dog killing aside, Vick is a bad quarterback. He has never won anything. He cannot stay healthy. He is old and beat up and would offer at best a couple years of play before being completely shot. Rather than accept all of this for a small improvement over Fitz, I would prefer to just get a QB in the draft and go from there.
  20. Fixed it for you
  21. Sounds simple except for the fact that other team could select him while you are playing games trying to trade back into the 1st rd. If they like him enough to scout him every week and then "he blows them away at the combine" just take him and don't risk losing him. Sure Kiper will lambast the Bills and call it a reach but if the Front office feels that this kid is the answer, you do it. QB is 1 million times more important to a team than a linebacker, IMO
  22. I would pay money to watch Vick got beaten and tortured like he did to those dogs. I would not pay money to watch him play for my hometown team.
  23. I hope Vick signs with the Jets that team is a trainwreck and Vick would fit right in. I don't want him anywhere near the Bills.
  24. I've often said that we would have been better off if we kept Jauron as HC, Fewell as DC and hired Chan as OC
  25. I do not want that scumbag on this team.
