  1. Where is Geno? Wasn't he previously around 12?
  2. If the Bills were to pattern themselves against an NBA franchise, why would they pick one that has never been successful?
  3. I did not say I think he is worth the pick. I am not a scout and don't pretend to be. My point is pretty simple: If the HC and OC who have coached him for 3 yrs+ believe he can be successful in the NFL and would like to have him run their offense, it would not surprise me to see those people draft him with the 8th pick rather than play games trying to trade down and risk having someone else draft him before the Bills can. The next 4 months are going to be very interesting with tons of speculation. Nobody knows what will happen. The "3rd round grade" you are referring to is quite random and irrelevant at this time. There is a ton of disagreement amongst the draft 'experts' with regards to the QBs in this draft. We've seen guys like Glennon graded as 4-5 or even 6th round picks and then some rumor comes out that the Bills like him and suddenly he is coming up with 1st round grades. I even saw a mock that had him going to KC at #1. It is laughable. I'm not going to get all worked up about it. If the Bills take him at 8 I will be excited because it will mean that Marrone and Hackett feel that he is good enough to stake their careers on and they should be the ones to know.
  4. Why not wait until the 6th round. Brady and Romo fell to the 6th round. I'm sure somebody just as good will be there this year.
  5. I am hoping the Bills take Nassib at 8. For two reasons: 1.) because that would signify to me that Marrone and Hackett truly believe he can be the man and that would be exciting. 2.) because this board would be so hilarious with all of the hissy fits and doom and gloom. All the self proclaimed experts guaranteeing that he will suck and they are done with the Bills.
  6. Troll
  7. LOL. A saw a post where somebody here recently suggested that the Bills should trade for Clausen
  8. I would trust the judgement of 2 guys who have worked with the kid every day for more than 3 years over a bunch of internet 'experts' who in the past have raved about Clausen, Quinn, LeFevour, Pike, etc. Anybody on this board claiming to know whether Nassib will be a good NFL QB or not is delusional.
  9. If you would actually give up your season tix over what base defense the Bills chose, please give them up anyway since you are probably one of the guys who screams stupid crap all game long anyways.
  10. I always say this. But then Fitz throws a dump off to Spiller in the backfield on 3rd and 10 and he breaks it for a 60+ yeard TD. Sometimes its not the play call, it is the execution (or lack thereof)
  11. I expect them to dump all the QBs on the current roster. Then they will sign a FA (probably Matt Moore) and draft a QB early.
  12. Like Tim Couch or JaMarcus Russell?
  13. "What a maroon! Hahahahaha! What an ignoranimus! Hehehehe!" -Bugs Bunny
  14. Jones announced after the game that he has a Lis Franc injury that will require surgery. I imagine this will affect his draft stock.
  15. If you are drafing at #8 overall, you should try to get a player who will be special. You can get a 'very good' LB much later in the draft. I would be beyond pissed if they take Te'o at 8.
  16. Totally agree. I like Manuel. I would be happy with Manuel, Glennon or Nassib in Rd2. I'm hoping the Bills re-sign Levitre but if he walks, grab Warmack in Rd1 and then the best QB in Rd2. If you keep Levitre, take the best LB in Rd1 and the best QB in Rd2.
  17. I was really looking forward to seeing Te'o play after reading all of the hype. Very disappointing perfomance to say the least.
  18. Wasn't the "Parcells rule" refering specifically to drafting a QB in Rd1? As I remember it, Parcells had said he would not take a QB in Rd1 unless they meet these criteria. I could be wrong.
  19. Yes, Please. He would be my #1 target in Free agency.
  20. FWIW - Kelvin Sheppard has better stats than Bart Scott over the last 2 years. I think Scott's best days are behind him.
  21. WOW. I would love this move. I wouldn;t mind seeing them take a run at Eric Mangini for DC as well
  22. My understanding is that it is basically advanced statistical analysis and predictive analysis. Looking at past occurences and predicting future success. For instance. Are you statisically better off punting on 4th and 1 from the opponents 35 yard line or does it make sense to attempt a FG or even to go for it. I realize this is an over simplification, but this is the basic idea.
  23. Thanks for posting this.
  24. Would love to see them bring back the OL coach. Seems like the players love him and it might help keep Levitre
