  1. Exactly... What's the Sales pitch? "Come to Buffalo and You too can enjoy a 7-9 Season under the bestest darn Head Coach a Guy could ask for!!!..."
  2. None of it matters... The Bills HC is a loser and He will figure out a way to finish 7-9 or worse despite the Talent level of the Team overall... The minute Ralph retained Dead Dick He proved beyond a shadow of a doubt winning is not the 1st priority in Buffalo...Period...End of story...
  3. Way to twist crap to make Your point... The fact is Gruden had 4 Winning Seasons in 7 Years with The Bucs , 3 NFC South Titles, and a Super Bowl Win...In his 11 Years as a Head Coach He has 6 Winning Seasons (He finished 8-8 twice with the Raiders) and He's 1-0 in the SB...His Career record as a HC is 95-81...The crap about winning with Dungy's Players is laughable...He did it...He Won the freaking SB...He did what Dungy could not do with the same Team...He's a damn good HC... Do you want to compare those numbers with Jaurons just for fun? I didn't think so... I'm not saying Gruden is Lombardi reincarnated, but if You can't recognize the fact that Gruden is a FAR superior HC to Ol' Dead Dick...Than NFL Football is CLEARLY not your thing... I'll take Gruden any day...ANY day over that loser we have now...
  4. Ummm....That assumption, IMHO of coarse, kinda trumps the other assumption that all those moves make a winning Team...You saw what happened in Dallas this Year...Talent does not equal Playoffs, and Coaching can have a HUGE impact on it...Now add to that the fact that Dead Dick is a career loser and I'm not sure how anyone can assume The Bills will win with him as the HC regardless of what they do to improve this Teams Talent...He's going to have to prove it...Cause the odds right now are 1 for to 7 against that He can Coach a winning NFL Football Team for a single Season...
  5. Thank You BADOL! I could not have possibly responded to that garbage he posted better... /deepbow
  6. I'd take Maualuga...I think He's going to be a difference maker...He adds size and attitude to the Defense...
  7. I think the same thing everytime I watch that Kid play...He's a monster...The crazy thing is, most of the "experts" figured Ngata to the Bills was a no-brainer in 06...The Bills showed them did they not? No such thing as a no-brainer when you're trying to out-think yourself...
  8. Seriously? You're kidding right? A DB??? Again? Are You related to Jauron? Maybe those geniuses at OBD can pull out more undersized defensive magic and convert the kid to OLB? Come to think of it, Dead Dick is still Our HC...So You're probably right... Look I know Mays is a heck of a Prospect, but I don't care if the kid is the next coming of Ed Reed...If the Bills can't Rush The Passer they can't get better on Defense...As for the Mock Draft I'm going to go out on a limb and say if there is not a run on pure 4-3 DE's from 1-10...one will be chosen at #11...The Bills Need good, young Pass Rushing talent in the worst way...Plus I expect that Kelsay may be a Cap casualty this Off Season...
  9. True...And the comfort level of the Organization as a whole... I mean...Just look at what we have...A HC who has 3 consecutive 7-9 Seasons under his belt in Buffalo, and one winning Season in eight as a Head Coach overall...The Head of our Scouting Department is basically a Part Timer who has negotiated comfort level into his position allowing him to live in Fla...He turned down a Job that would have given him a bigger role in the Organization...Think John Butler and Bill Polian lived in Buffalo when they were Heading up Scouting? A Chief Operating Officer who is not an NFL Guy and never was a Scout...An Owner who's attention is so squarly on the bottom line that he refuses to buy out a Coach who's approval rating makes George W. look like the winner of American Idol...The same Coach who led a historic collapse finishing the season on a blazing 2-8 streak...The same Coach who lost 2 HOME Games to Teams that will be Drafting in the Top 10 next April... And oh, by the way, the Bills are heading directly towards of a decade without a Playoff appearence...They have a perennial NFL power in their Division who MISSED the Playoffs with an 11-5 Record...The Team that Won The AFC East is being run by one of the best minds in The NFL...And all 3 AFC East Rivals finished above .500 in 08...Next up...The NFC South in 09!!! So why not stay the mediocre course right? No need for drastic measures in this cakewalk Division with an easy 09 Schedule right?...Right... It's a mess...A mess that is starting to look an awful lot like a Team that is headed towards being one of those NFL "afterthought" Franchises...You know the ones...The Bungals, The Lions, The Raiders...The Teams that are there so the good Teams have someone to beat on Sunday... I'll say this much...If keeping Jauron works out Ralph is definitely a genius because it pretty much bucks anything even remotely considered conventional wisdom...It's a bad gamble though, especially after what we saw this Year from Atlanta, Miami, and Baltimore...Winning in The NFL is actually not that hard when you have the right (not necessarily the highest paid) Folks in charge with a single objective of doing the tough things, not the most comfortable things, in order to be successful....
  10. Well... I have always been a Bills Fan...38 years and counting...You are no more Fan than I...That much I guarantee... I'll never dump the Bills...I'm neither hysterical nor am I a negative person...I'm actually quite positive about most things in life...But I'm not a fool either and I know NFL Football...I know a loser when I see one, and even if I don't I can just look up the Record...I know when a Team is ill-prepared, unmotivated, and confused...And I know when it's a Coaching problem...And I'm not about to be OK with Dead Dick for another Year...Yes their My Team...But I don't have to like it...I'm not a lemming... So go on and think what you will about those of us who have chosen to speak our minds against this rediculous decision to keep that career loser...Who knows? Maybe by some miracle or Grace of God Jauron will get better at his job and be able to match wits with the likes of Belichick...If you are such a great Fan I would advise putting some cash down on The Bills for next Season because the payoff will be HUGE should they succeed...There's a reason for that though...And all the blind loyalty in the world is not going to help Dead Dick when when The Patsies come to Town looking to dish out their yearly ass whipping...
  11. I'm pretty much on board with your opinion here...Definitely easier said than done...And I think, for whatever reason, it seems to be tougher for Bills Fans because we take a tremendous amount of pride in our dedication to this Team...A TREMENDOUS amount of pride...Look at this past Season as an example...Small Market be damned, Bills Fans fill up RWS still...Sure there was optimism...But most Bills Fans were not expecting a Super Bowl appearance...After consecutive 7-9 Seasons why should they? But they still come in droves...Cause that's what Bills Fans do... Personally...I'm not going to be fooled any longer...This is a near decade-long drought and The Bills are now looking at a streak of mediocrity that is undeniable...Staying the course at this point is simply begging for more mediocrity...If Bills Fans want to know why a Player like Tony Gonzalez would not consider coming to Buffalo you need look no further than this past weeks developments...Or lack thereof...Staying the course has the distinct look of not doing everything you can to WIN...The Bills will go into this Off Season like they have every Off Season the past decade with the promise that a Draft Pick here, or a UFA there, will make the difference...But how can any Bills Fan be blamed for pessimism at this point? How can we truly trust that the job is going to get done when we see the rest of the AFC East getting better while the Bills stay the course? Here's the thing...If The Bills show promise next Season Bills Fans will be back again as strong as ever...But if not...If this next Season ends without a Playoff appearence then all bets are off...It's going to get ugly...Personnaly I can't understand why anyone is willing to give Ralph the benefit of the doubt at this point...But to each his own...I agree that continued support will never get the message across...But that's what Bills Fans are conditioned to do...And it's a hard habit to break...
  12. Sure cause Jauron supporters have cornered the market on common sense... You like common sense? How about facts? 7 losing Seasons in 8 as a Head Coach...A 57-76 overall Record as a Head Coach...An 0-6 Record vs. The AFC East in 08...A dismal Record vs. winning Teams in His Head Coaching Career...0-6 vs. Bill Belichick as The Bills Head Coach...There's more but common sense tells me that's enough... Look...If you wanna love the Bills because they are your Team, the loveable losers, and rah, rah, rah...blah, blah, blah...Fine...But don't come in here with that weak slow-ball of common sense because keeping Jauron had NOTHING to do with common sense or the will to WIN in today's NFL...
  13. Keep making excuses...This is exactly what Ralph is counting on...In a couple Months all will be forgiven, and Bills Fans like you will be lined up for Tickets just to be rewarded with another mediocre 7-9 Season led by a Head Coach who is glaringly incapeable of matching wits with most of his counterparts... It's all part of the plan... You can rationalize this till the cows come home and there will NEVER be a good reason for keeping a Head Coach who is a career loser...Unless you don't care about winning of coarse...
  14. Well...That makes You and Ralph! So You've got company at least...
  15. I'm joining You this Year...Canceling My NFL Ticket w/HD...It's not about the cash or anything like that...It's about not paying to watch this mediocre garbage from a Franchise that accepts it...Instead I'll be working on My handicap...Though My Girlfriend did get wind of My plans and is already saying Sundays next Year are HER days now... So I might have to re-think My plans...
  16. Well...If you plan on losing cause you're scared of the Schedule, why not leave the loser in charge? If that's the attitude this Organization has it's actually worse than just being stupid, or frugal, or whatever...As if that was even possible... I'd lose whatever respect I have left for Ralph...which admittedly is not much...if the decision to keep Jauron was based on expecting to lose...Though it's true if that was the reason...Dead Dick is the man for the Job...
  17. You can say that again! Adams and Butler were Football Scouts through and through...They were Old School, and it was a blast to hear Dwight talk about a Prospect...It's something that is definitely missing since TD came along...Modrak is just further evidence of what is wrong with this Organization overall...I'm not saying He's a terrible Scout...But He's a part time Head Scout who lives a long plane flight away from Buffalo...This is what the Bills as an Organization allow...How can you have a dedication to out-Scouting the competition when your Head Scout does not even work Full Time? This Organization truly lacks the examples it takes...the commitment it takes to WIN from the top down...Butler and Adams, and AJ for that matter, oozed that commitment...They may not have been right all the time...But they were not going to get outworked, or out-hustled along the way...There was a commitment I simply don't see anymore at OBD...Especially with the Head Scouts' current cushy arrangement...
