  1. Well...I'm shocked...I honestly thought this was a no-brainer... I hope Ol' Ralph realizes this is an un-spinnable situation...He can say whatever the fug He wants to say about fixing this, that, and the other thing...His Head Coach is going to still get out-coached on most Sundays and now his Fan Base is pissed off...Next Year will get SO ugly if the Bills Lose or even if they are mediocre again...I mean...It's gonna get UGLY!!!And in The AFC East??? Good God if Cowher goes to The Jets??? And what will Ralph say this time next Year to the Fans who have already left? No worries for Me though...Charlotte has some of the best Golf Courses in the US and I'm gonna get that Handicap back down to single digits with the money I save from cancelling My NFL Package with HD...I'm not watching that loser blow another Game for My beloved Bills...I'll just get the bad news from Y'all after the Games from now on... I hate You Ralph Wilson...You broke Me...
  2. I simply cannot believe there is ANY thought to bringing Dead Dick back under ANY circumstances...I just can't fathom it...And when The Bills are 7-9 after Week 17 next Season...what then? Will Jauron be gone after his 8th losing Season in 9 as a Head Coach...Or will Wilson find another Assistant who is to blame?...Is Ralph REALLY going to risk another losing Season under a Head Coach who is loved by His Players but basically despised by Bills Fans?... Jauron needs to go or this Franchise is headed into an abyss only Cities like Cincy and Oakland understand...This is going to get REAL bad if they have another losing Season under Jauron...REAL bad and REAL ugly...
  3. That is a moronic reply... Pennington helped no question...But did Pennington get no Coaching help? Did He go out there on his own and run the Wildcat? Did He look this good under Mangini? The Players said Sporano brought a new attitude and told them each and every day why they lose and what they need to do to win...The Players pointed to The Coaching change as the big difference in Miami...Why would you disagree with that?
  4. So You think Season Ticket Sales will be the same with Jauron back as HC? Look I know Fans are not going to march on OBD...But some will stay away if Jauron is back next Year...It may or may not be a significant number...We'll see...But I don't think there is any question that bringing Jauron back is a gamble for The Bills Organization where PR is concerned...It's a BIG gamble...
  5. Well...I love My Bills too...Have for 38 Years now...I'm a Bills Fan no matter what..That will never change.. But I'm not spending another cent on this Jauron-led product...There are other things I can do...enjoyable things! I'm just as forgiving as the next guy but I'm done making Myself miserable week in and week out during Football Season... Jauron is a loser...7 out of 8 Years as a Head Coach...Is it not plain stupid of Us to expect any different? So if I'm expecting them to lose under Jauron...Why watch? Just to torture Myself? Nope...Not any more...I'm going Golfing...
  6. I'm done watching The Bills if Dead Dick is back...Cancelling My NFL Sunday Ticket with HD for that reason and that reason alone... I'll still pull for the Team...Hope they win, etc...But no one can force Me to watch, even worse PAY to watch that garbage ever again...I'm done with Jauron and his losing ways...
  7. I know how I feel about it... I could give a s**t ...
  8. I no longer live up there...So all I can do is cancel My NFL Sunday Ticket with HD...Which I plan on doing...But I would like to personally thank each and every Fan who plans on canceling their Season Tickets IF Jauron is brought back...Because this is the only way anything can get done Folks...If The Bills cant see beyond a shadow of a doubt that Dead Dick is a lost cause then they deserve to feel it where it counts...At the gate... I don't think cancelling Season Tickets means The Bills move out of Buffalo...At least not in the short term...Bills Fans have shown they will come if the product looks even half decent...It's a fact...It's up to The Bills Organization to show they are serious about putting a winning product on the field...I hope until they show it, Fans vote with the only voice they have...Their hard earned cash...
  9. Laugh?...I don't think anyone will be laughing if The Bills take a Safety in the 1st Round again...Whitner, Scott, and Simpson may not be the best Safety combination in the NFL...But it's FAR from The Bills biggest Need area...And just like keeping Jauron, Drafting another Safety high in the 1st Round would be a PR nightmare in Buffalo! I know it's easy to assume the worst with The Bills based on what happened this Year...But the Organization is very much aware of what losing consistantly can mean in a small market...They are well aware of how quickly this can turn bad...Fans are fed up and they WILL vote with their feet...They WILL walk unless they are given some damn good reasons not to...Every decision made this Off Season will have an effect on Fan interest...They know it...Believe Me they are not THAT stupid...They know...
  10. Well...He either wants to be a HC or He doesn't right now... Sometimes it's just a Year too early for these Guys...Sometimes it's who is offering the Jobs...But if a Coach REALLY wants to be a HC, they may even take LESS to do so...Some Guys want the pressure...Others don't, or realize they're not quite ready for it... As far as Spagnuolo goes He certainly deserves a look if the Bills want to go the Coordinator route...I look back to last Season and the Giants were pretty beat up in the Secondary at times...even in the Playoffs...and they came up with one impressive outing after the other...I think a HC that comes from a winning Organization, and understands the importance of superior interior-line play, is a REAL good idea...
  11. Who let Jauron on this Board??? Get Him out!!! Seriously...I'm guessing the days of the Bills taking a Safety in the Top 10 are over...I could be wrong, but it's hard to believe it could happen again... I think The Bills will take the BPRA in Round #1 next Year...The Best Pass Rusher Available...
  12. Good luck getting that message across...Far too many Bills Fans have seen mediocrity so long it's become their security blanket...Or their blanky...That soft warm, cuddly thing You hug at night that makes everything OK...So soft and secure that 8-8 seems like triumph! So warm and fuzzy that maybe just maybe the Players can gather around a Camp Fire with the Coach they love ever so much, hold hands, sing Kum By Ya, have a circle jerk, and suddenly become winners... It's all good don't ya know?
  13. Well if there is an 8-8 clause it's good to know Bills Management was reaching for the stars when they wrote that in!!! Seriously...If there is such a clause it proves beyond a shadow of a doubt The Bills did not want Dead Dick back...4-0 or 5-1 start aside, it was still a pretty safe bet Jauron would not make it to 8-8 by the end of the Season...Afterall he had only done so once in 7 Years as a Head Coach...I'm sure Wilson, Brandon and Co. were chuckling under their breath when they wrote that clause in...Those sneaky bastards...
  14. Adam...I know You've been around here for a while...so you can't be Jauron's Kid or anything like that...I just can't figure out why You love the Guy so much? The Guy had a losing record 4 out of the 5 Years in Chicago...What was the excuse there? Did He fit there? No...he just did what He's done here...Lose... And what, after watching this Guy Coach for 3 Years, would even give You a clue that He could fit anyone's philosophy? Unless that philosophy involved finishing with a 7-9 Record or worse of coarse... Come on Adam...Come over to the dark Side...We have cookies and we are no longer accepting the mediocrity that has been the Buffalo Bills over these last 9 years...There is plenty of work to be done everywhere in this Organization...But that loser HC has got to be the 1st to go...Then we can talk about the rest...
  15. Sorry but that has to be one of the most uninformed lines I've ever read on TSW...And I've read a hell of a lot here over the Years...One winning Season in eight as a Head Coach and You think it's near impossible to do better??? Are you freaking kidding Me? Have You been so dumbed down by losing Season after losing Season that your gauge is that far off? If so that's sad...Seems like with some Bills Fans the mediocrity has seeped into their brains permenently...Know this...The Bills can do MUCH better than Dead Dick Jauron who rutinely gets out-coached by average Head Coaches...Lets not even talk about the Belichicks of the NFL who make him look foolish...Something better is out there...The Bills just have to find the guy...But it wont be hard to top Jauron...Unless you think a 57-75 Record as a HC is impressive...
  16. And we all know what eventually happened there... If this Modrak thing is true I'm getting a clearer idea of what Ralph may be thinking...Unfortunately, if I'm right, Ralph is only half right... Going back to a time before DJ even arrived Marv had set up an ideal that the HC was going to grab a heck of a lot of power in this Bills Organization...Levy told all of us in his 1st Press Conference as the GM and after all, he's an ex Head Coach...Why would we expect any different from an old Ball Coach?...So Levy goes out and hires Jauron...A guy who was wondering if He would be able to find a Job as a DB Coach before The Bills called...And on top of it Marv empowers Jauron beyond what anyone could possibly imagine...Jauron would have the final say on all Personnel decisions, he would hand pick the style of Offense and Defense the Bills would play...Not bad for a Coach who, at the time, had 4 losing Seasons in 5 as a Head Coach...Not bad at all... The Bills gut it, go young and have consecutive 7-9 Season...Levy leaves and Jauron gets MORE power over Personnel decisions...The Bills collapse after a 1-5 start and Ralph thinks most of the problems are Personnel related...Maybe he has not been paying attention on Game Days the past 3 Years...but I digress...Anyway...Ralph still has a decent memory...He sees this Kid Gunslinger in Denver and remembers The Bills passed on Him in favor of staying with JP Losman at QB and Drafting an undersized SS who is a good, but certainly not great Player...let alone a Pro Bowl QB...Ralph remembers Modrak REALLY wanted to draft Cutler...Ralph starts coming to the realization that Jauron has too much control over the Personnel side of The Bills, but He does not want to Fire Him because A) He just gave DJ a 3 Year extention...and B) He still has a tremendous amount of respect for Jauron as a Man, along with Levy and Marv's vision for this Team...Remember though that Marv is an EX HEAD COACH and never met a Head Coach He did not like...He wanted to bring Mularkey back after all...He would be in favor of keeping My 9 Year Old Nephew at Head Coach if that was the case...But again I digress... So Ralph figures the safe, easy thing to do is keep Jauron as HC and give Modrak Veto power over all Personnel decisions...Everybody's happy right? We'll see...I know this is all pure speculation...But IF Jauron stays I'm thinking this may have been the thought process behind what direction the Bills go in the future...And like I said, IMHO, Ralph is only half right and keeping Dead Dick will prove to be a HUGE mistake both on the Field and in overall Fan interest...I hope I'm wrong though...
  17. No...Lets do something New and Hire a Head Coach who is not a career loser or a head coach who would never get Hired by the other 31 Teams...How about that? I'm not blaming it all on Jauron...But at the same time I think quite a few Folks around here who wish to support Jauron do not understand how much He was empowered by Levy...He has basically run this Franchise for 3 Years because He's had veto power on Personnel decisions...Go back and read the interviews with Levy...It's all there...Go back and read the reports when Marv left...They all said that Jauron would be the one to pick up a lot of Levy's responsibilities on the Football side... I understand not wanting to put all the blame on Jauron...I do...But lets not let him off the hook either...I don't think there is any single person in The Bills Organization MORE responsible than Jauron for the product and the performance on the Field...He has to be help accountable...And there is not one single thing that is going to get the Players attention more than firing the Head Coach they claim to love so dearly...It sends a clear message to everyone in that Locker Room...Produce or expect to be replaced...It's as simple as that...
  18. So...Are You saying the problem with Jauron, 7 out of 8 Years as a Head Coach, has been the Players execution? Okey doke... Look...Maybe this Year You have a point...But the Guy is a freaking CAREER LOSER...He reaks of losing...He's a good Man and a decent Guy, so what are the Players supposed to say? They like the Guy a lot because He's a class act...There is no way in hell they are going to throw him under the Bus while He's here because they respect Him...But that does not make Him a good NFL Head Coach...It does not mean He puts them in position to Win Games they SHOULD and COULD Win...You talk about Film and what was there and so on...It's the HC's Job through His Coordinators to put forward a Plan that his Players can execute successfully...The Bills stay in these Games because they have the talent to do so...They lose these Games because their HC cannot match wits with the other Guy on most Sundays...You just can't hide 57-75 as an NFL Head Coach...You can try all You want...You can make up all the excuses and put the Guy on a Pedestal till the cows come home...But at the end of the day it's still 57-75 as a HC, 7 out of 8 losing Seasons and a Guy who will never get another NFL Head Coaching Job after He gets the boot here... Coaches like Jauron are the modern day Players wet dream...They expect Men to be Men and they think You can hard work your way into winning...It's just not the case though...In this day and age of the NFL You have to have it all as a HC and that includes the ability to out-coach the other Guy on Game Day...Jauron may do a ton of things right but in the end He's still a career loser as a Head Coach...And until The Bills Franchise and Bills Fans stop making excuses and start raising their expectations this is what we are going to get from Buffalo Bills Football Year after Year after Year... If DJ returns it's up to Him to prove Me wrong...but the odds are so stacked in My favor as far as Jauron is concerned I'm pretty confident I'm right...I hope I'm wrong, but 57-75 says I'm dead on correct...We'll see...
