Totally agree... I respect Fitz and what he's done so far...But no on on this earth will ever convince me The Bills can't do better...It's the most important position...period...And if the opportunity arises to upgrade, it's good to know they have an out on that deal...If not, build around Fitz and hope for the best...

I've never been a Fitz guy...I wanted Gabbert in the worst way, though I never thought Dareus would be there at #3...I'm not sure Gabbert will end up being any better than Fitz, but I've never thought Fitz would be good enough... That being said...The Bills are stuck now...They committed to Fitz and now they have to build around him...Fitz has proven he can, at times, be an effective NFL QB...And if you want to win, if you want to go to a Championship with Fitz at QB, that means a dominant running game, a REAL good Defense, and a bunch of receivers that can make plays...The biggest problem with that equation at this point is the Defense which is CLEARLY the worst Defense in the NFL...They make average to below average QB's look like All Pro's...The Defense needs a complete overhaul, starting with the DC, some more Draft Picks and UFA's...The running Game is easier to fix...When healthy The Bills have SOME decent O-Linemen...They need another dominant guy...A LT would be best...But maybe a LT and a RG...The receivers? Well...The Bills actually have the start of a decent receiving crew, but they need that one guy...A guy like a Dez Bryant, AJ Green...Maybe Dwayne Bowe will come to Buffalo...If you put a guy like Bowe or Vincent Jackson on top of this depth Chart, re-sign Stevie...then Jones, Nelson, Easley and the rest are pushed down...All of a sudden your WR corps look a lot better... I also think The Bills NEED to Draft a QB in 2012...Maybe not in the first couple Rounds...But somewhere...If for no other reason than Thigpen is currently the back-up... This Team is a complete mess right now, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but Fitz is WAY down on the list of problems...plus, like I said...The Bills are stuck with him for a couple more years...

There may not be any guarantee...But seriously...Chances are The Bills will still be here long after most of us are gone...It's a stable Franchise...I know that's not how some like to paint it...But in comparison to quite a few NFL Teams the Bills are really pretty sound...And IF they every went anywhere, it would be Toronto...

On the 3rd Down INT that Nelson dropped he was 2 yards short of the 1st Down marker...I've never seen a Team throw so many passes within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage (in-front or behind)...This is the NFL...And Chan's inability to come up with anything besides what WAS working a few weeks back is beginning to be troubling...These plays are not working and the Defenses they are facing are on to it quite obviously...Add to that the fact that Fitz has come back down to earth and this Offense looks REAL bad...I mean REAL bad all of a sudden...I know this is not popular to say about Pro athletes...But it sure as hell looks like a few guys have quit out there...Either that or they have definitely lost confidence in this Offenses ability to move the Ball consistently...Add that to the worst Defense in football and that's how you get down to a 2 win Team by over 20 points in one half of football...Pathetic...

No Team in the NFL deserves Andrew Luck more than the Buffalo Bills...They managed to screw that up too! Unbelievable... The Bills could make my 11 year old Nephew look like a Pro Bowl QB...And he plays DT...

A gimme? Are you kidding? Seriously who said that? Who in God's name would think this Bills Team could beat anyone easy, on the Road nonetheless, the way they have been playing?...Especially on Defense...A gimme? The Fish should have been favored by a TD...or more...

Well...It certainly could not hurt to get rid of him...The Bills could keep all 11 Defenders on the sideline and the result would be the same...Teams pretty much do what they want, when they want vs. this Defense...It is the worst Defense in the NFL...Period...End of story...A complete embarrassment...Making Matt Moore look like Joe Montana is not easy believe me...I watched him a couple years in Carolina...But this Defense can do it...It make ma want to projectile vomit...

Well... If that happens, and Williams follows the rest of these Defensive youngsters in terms of development (or lack thereof), it should be just enough to wreck his confidence for next year...

All true... And I never expected The Bills to be a Top 10 Defense in 2011 anyway...But it's hard for me to believe they are so talent poor that they can't be Top 20...Unless the talent gap is specifically Coaching...I think that's where we have the least amount of talent on Defense...In fact I don't think we have any Defensive Coaching talent at all...

I agree The Bills need more playmakers...But outside of a few NFL teams everyone is in that boat...It's what you do with the talent you're given...Before Gailey got here who would have thought Stevie Johnson would even be considered an NFL #1 WR? David Nelson was undrafted and now he's making plays on most Sundays...Chandler was cut by SD and Dallas...It's what you get out of what you've got...Then you add when you can... The Bills are not without talent, heck even playmakers on Defense...Granted there is a need for more (especially Pass Rushers), but there's not many DC's in the league who would not love to have George Wilson, Dareus...heck even Carrington and Nick Barnett...Barnett said it yesterday, "We have talent, no one can say we don't. We've got guys who can run with any guys, jump with any guys, hit any guys..." So right now, as the Bills stand today, their #1 Need on Defense is a Coach who can hang, game-plan, and sometimes outsmart opposing Offenses...And Edwards has proven he can't get that job done...After 11 Draft Picks over 2 years this Defense is actually statistically WORSE than last year...WORSE! How is that even possible?...I'll tell you how...Terrible Coaching...That's how... I'm not saying The Bills don't have talent problems on D...I'm not saying injuries and the lack of an off-season are not factors...But when you look at a Team like Houston...A Team who had no off-season as well AND switched from a 4-3 to a 3-4...It's hard to make excuses when all Bills Fans were hoping for was an average NFL Defense...Can you imagine how much better this Team would be overall if The Bills simply had the 16th ranked Defense? And I firmly believe a quality NFL Defensive Coordinator could take this Bills talent and produce an average Defense...So Edwards has GOT to go...He sucks and he's greatly over-matched as far as x's and o's, along with game-plans, are concerned...Not to mention Edwards and his Staff can't develop a young player to save their lives...At least that's my take on it...
