That is absolutely amazing... You know...Every year someone at the HOF inductions claims they played for the best fans in the NFL...But this movement looks like tangible proof to me...Just incredible...Makes me awfully proud to say the very least...

You forgot to mention that Woods was clearly...and I mean obviously...illegally contacted on the last Offensive play...It could have been called PI as well...Woods was shoved 3 times after the 5 yard limit...Then the defender ran into him with his back to the ball, which was well in the air by then...And amazingly, even with all that illegal contact, Woods still almost managed to at least touch the ball... One of the worst no-calls I've ever seen...Not saying it was the reason the Bills lost...Just saying...It was brutal...I'm still pissed off about it...

You're definitely right about that...No question... But what it does prove is that the Pegula run organization realized they needed to come up with a pretty radical plan to reconstruct the entire Organization from the GM down...And it's a tough plan for fans to swallow...The plan has unquestionably led to the team stockpiling a ton of young talent, while giving them great odds at getting one of the two highest rated prospects to come out in many, many years... So...objectively...I think it can be said that a Pegula run organization is capable of making the right moves to give a team the opportunity to turn around in a big way...It remains to be seen how it's going to work out with the Sabres...And no one has a clue how or what the Pegula's are going to do with the Bills...That can't be argued...But I think what he has allowed to happen on the Hockey side took enormous balls...And what more can we ask for as fans other than Ownership giving us the opportunity to be very good in time? There are always a million variables that can derail a plan...But the better the plan the less possibility of failure...I think the Sabres have a hell of a good plan right now...And should they land McDavid, or even Eichel (which is all but a certainty at this point because the Sabres are WELL on their way to finishing with the fewest points in the NHL), that team takes a HUGE step towards being good for many, many years to come...

Agreed... All anyone has to do is Google "Top NHL Organizational Prospect Rankings" and the Sabres come up #1 on almost every list... Here's a quote from one of those many lists... "The Buffalo Sabres have been bad at the NHL level for a few years now, but one thing they have done well is stockpile draft picks and prospects galore. This has resulted in the deepest prospect pool we have seen in the three years of our top shelf series, and with owning the Islanders 2015 first-rounder (along with their own), in what looks like an excellent draft class, there is more on the way."

I'm on record here, going back a bit now, that Marrone does not have what it takes... I think if you want to break things down to the least common denominator look no father than the fact that this team is poor-to-very-poor in Marrone's area of expertise...I think that's indictment enough on the guy...He wants to be a run first Offense and we cant run consistently dating back to last year...Let alone all the other factors evident in his on and off-the-field coaching and management...Marrone is not whatsoever what he portrayed when he took the job...He's not a forward thinking HC at the cutting edge of coaching trends...He's an old-school jock who is not a dummy granted, but he's also no where the Offensive innovator necessary to take this team to the next level...Especially considering the fact that this team does not have a top 5 QB... NO question I feel we should move on from Marrone and Hackett ASAP...The QB problem aside, this team has more collective talent than it has had in many, many years...And IMHO they are underachieving on Offense big time with a HC that is supposed to be an Offensive guy...

I certainly hope we get to see Sammy play with a great QB in the not to distant future... If the kid is this good with Manuel and Orton at QB can you imagine how good he will be with a great QB?

Slow O-line that can't pull and we're going to run wide on 3rd and short when we've been getting nice short-yardage runs all night between the tackles... Gotta love Hackett some times...

Agree 100%... I just can't figure Marrone out...Maybe it's just me...But it's like he's conservative when he should be aggressive, and aggressive when he should be conservative...It's not 4th and 1...Or even 4th and 5...Your Defense has been playing well most of the game, you have one of the best kickers in the league, your at home, and you still have all your TO's plus the 2 minute warning...To me, the FG there was a no-brainer...But I understand how, in this day and age, folks want to err on the side of being aggressive...I get that...But in that situation I kick the FG and put it on my Defense to get me the ball back one more time knowing that with Carpenter, if I get the ball to the Chiefs 30 or so, it's all but automatic...

This game was the worst kind of loss IMHO... The turnovers by Brown and Mclovin along with the missed opportunities by Orton took an easily winnable game and turned it into a loss... Not to mention they squandered a pretty decent effort by the Defense... Just sad ..
