Why would the Bills continue to pour cash and resources into a Defense that still won't be able to stop anyone consistently instead of an Offense that can at least try to score a little more? Not to mention the fact that we have crater sized-holes all over the Offense due to injury...Well...That and lack of Offensive talent overall... I'm all for trading Gilmore...Can we maybe get some Offensive help though?...Or more DRAFT picks so we can DRAFT more Offense help in 2017?... Note : If Whaley trades anymore Draft picks away to move up I'm going to lose it... I'm done with this trying to build around Defense stuff...Brady is going to be around for at least a few more years...We can't beat them by trying to stop him...Build the team around beating the Pats Defense and at least trying to outscore them instead of stopping Brady...How about that for a change? Just saying...

Gilmore is not even close to as good as he thinks he is (I'm basing that opinion on the reports that he's asking for top 5 CB cash)...However, I am kind of shocked that he has not stepped up a bit in a contract year...But I think that says a lot about the kind of player he is... Not trying to put all the blame on Gilmore...Not saying he's terrible...In fact at the right price I would not mind seeing him return...But he's clearly not one of the top CB's in the NFL...I think PFF had him ranked around 17th last year...He's like a lot of Bills players...Better than average...But not really good enough to make a big difference...

Tyrod is better than we've had before him... But still no where near good enough...

I expected them to get beat soundly... I did not expect them to help the Pats this much...I figured NE would do it all on their own...

I guess it all depends where we end up picking...I'm OK with Williams certainly...But I like the USC kid A LOT... I know Smith-Schuster had some issues with the Alabama CB's...And started slow this year...So he's going to need some work...But that kid is dynamic...To me he jumps off the screen...

I did not know the exact numbers...But I know this was a big topic on WGR last year and this past off-season...It's easy to see... There are built in excuses for Tyrod this year...And they're real...Good grief they're banged up on Offense...But I've never been of the mind that TT is that good...He's an amazing scrambler, runner, and a heck of an athlete...He throws a decent long ball...But IMHO he's never going to be quite good enough unless everything falls in to place (they stay healthy, get a real good #2 WR, and dominate in the running game)...And that so very rarely happens in the NFL...
