  1. Really not interested in a RB with the Bills' first pick. Fix the OL and mid round RBs can be stars.
  2. Tthe Bills have had two D coordinators the past two years and have been very good on that side of the ball anyway. It's all about the talent. Also, it's not like a totally new scheme as they played in it under Pettine a year ago. I'm not worried about retaining Schwartz at all, the D will be fine under Ryan. Now, the offence...
  3. That's because people overvalue draft picks. When a team uses a #3 pick on a player they dream that he'll turn out to be as good as Dareus. Yet, once he turns out that good he's still not worth trading for a top 3 pick. It's pure craziness how overvalued 1st round picks are. People won't tade the pick for a sure thing and would rather gamble with the draft.
  4. Lebeau is 77 and Wilson died at age 95 so I'm going to go with no.
  5. I'd have to look at the numbers but it seemed to be that the Bills D got progressively worse vs. the run as the season went on. They certainly started the season well but in the 2nd half I don't recall them being particularly stout vs. the run. Also, just because Pettine ran Rex's scheme doesn't mean he ran it like Rex would. Rex's Ds, when they had actual talent, were good vs. the run.
  6. Why do people keep acting like Schwartz built this D? They were very good the year before under Perttine running Rex's D. So good that it landed Pertine a HC job. Schwartz improved the D to be sure but with the talent on board any good DC is going to have a dominant D. The D wouldn't take a step back if Schwartz left. Id actually say that if they lose Hughes they'd be better off under Rex as Rex is better at using scheme to generated preasure as opposed to Schwartz who simply lets the 4 guys up front do their jobs.
  7. They had a good D when Pettine ran Rex's D a year ago.
  8. I love to see Brady bury his head in his hands. I like to pretend he's crying.
  9. Nicely done Leroi, so much for my doubting you.
  10. My bad, it wasn't on Ngata, it was on Timmy Jernigan. They just showed it again and highlighted the specific official who was responsible for the call.
  11. Jerry Hughes pats his teammate on the head in congratulations and he gets flagged.
  12. Here in the UK instead of going to every commercial they go to the studio where they have former NFL players break down what's happening in the game. After the Brady TD they showed the horrible hold (tackle) on Ngata on that TD and they were flabbergasted how it wasn't called. It's funny how the US broadcast doesn't even mention it. It was as blatant of a hold as you'll ever see.
  13. It's believable that anybody Whaley would trust with a text would betray that trust by posting it on a message board? Yeah, I'm not buying it.
  14. Forget that, Ngata was literally tackled on that play. How that wasn't a hold I have no idea.
  15. I might be on board with you if you could direct me to the information that tells us that the Bills forced him out. The guy quite. He's accountable for his actions, nobody else.
  16. And what if he's the very bestestest coach the world has ever seen!!!!!??? What then?!!! Not sure why I'm asking this question here, It obviously deserves it's own thread.
  17. If he's reaching out to coordinators and trying to get everything together I can't imagine the game this weekend has his full attention.
  18. I read on TSW that accuracy can't be improved upon or coached.
  19. I definitely want competition brought in to challenge EJ but nothing makes me happier than to know that the team hasn't given up on their 1st round QB after 14 starts (unlike many on this board.) As for chasing off potential coaches, I don't want a coach who is thinking so short term that they're not interested in developing talent, particularly at the QB position.
  20. According to an article I read a few weeks ago he still drinks and says he doesn't have a problem and can control it.
  21. And if that was the norm for those offenses the OCs would be getting fired.
  22. Absolutely. The Jets job.
  23. Inglewood. Move out of the sticks gentlemen.
  24. Pass. I'd rather have any of the coaches coming in for interviews already(other than Reich.)
