  1. That's not the same as drops. What are his drop numbers? Targets just mean the QB throws him the ball, it doesn't say if the ball was inaccurate, defended or dropped.
  2. Not going to happen. Teams are happy letting Woods catch 10 -15 yard passes that aren't back breaking. The last thing they want is sammy running down the sideline for big plays. That's what scares teams, not possession guys like woods.
  3. Last week vs. Cleveland when they showed the mini highlights of the first half vs. Haden he had separation time and time again. He should have had a long TD if Orton could have hit him deep and he was open quite a bit but Orton simply didn't look his way on those plays. It seems that Orton only goes to Watkins when he's covered but when he's open he looks other places. It's baffling.
  4. I think throwing the ball to Hogan is holding the offense back. Orton loves to go to him on 3rd downs and it seems time and time again Hogan will make the catch but come up short of the conversion. I don't have any data to back this up, it's just something I've noticed on quite a few occasions. It drives me crazy.
  5. You think the Bills will put up 20? Is the D scoring in this scenario? If the O puts up 20 and doesn't turn the ball over it will be a close game late. I think a more likely scenario is the Bills put up 10-13 and the Broncs put up 24. Hopefully the D or ST can score and the Bills can steal the game. Not likely, but not impossible.
  6. The was the brightest point of Hackett's NFL career. Great play call at the perfect time.
  7. Not even close? Not sure how anybody could say that. Has Fitz ever had the red zone issues this Orton led offence has had. As for not forcing things what was that INT by Leonard yesterday?
  8. I think the D holds them to 24 or so if the O doesn't cough up the ball giving the Broncs a short field. The problem is that I don't think there's a chance in hell the Bills put up more than 24 unless the D or special teams helps out. This week it's more important than ever for Orton not to be careless with the ball and Hackett to trust his running game.
  9. Yeah, Orton misses guys. But you know what, Hackett knows what he has in his QB yet still called a game in which they threw way more than they ran. With this defense the Bills should be taking the ball out of Orton's hands and relying on the run game, particularly against a weak Browns front. That's all on Hackett.
  10. Perhaps that's true, but who knows? Perhaps they win a game or two that the Orton led offense helped to lose. People love to act like EJ was the worst QB ever when he really wasn't. Orton has had a few good games but other than those he hasn't looked like much of an upgrade. The bottom line is that 8-8 doesn't get the Bills in the playoffs. EJ could have managed missing the playoffs too while getting the experience he needs. The change to Orton was a "playoffs or bust" move and if they don't make the playoffs, well, that's a bust. This team needs to win 3 of the next 4 and make this conversation moot. With this D it's possible.
  11. Since I live in London I can't watch the game unless I pay roughly $16 to Sky Sports. I did that for the NE/Denver game and regretted it...
  12. Entire D. The D line doesn't do it without the secondary, even if we don't realize it watching the TV feed.
  13. With the remaining schedule I don't expect the playoffs (or anything better than 8-8 really) but given the past 15 years I can't really complain about 7-5. Given SD's remaining schedule I wanted them to win.
  14. D has been OUTSTANDING the past few weeks. One TD allowed in the last two games. Just dominant.
  15. I love seeing a 2-10 Tampa team "in the hunt"
  16. Of course it will be. And with the prevent D coming up he's going to put up some yards.
  17. It was one drive. The Browns are (were?) 7-4. Yeah, call for the rookie HC's head for turning around a dreadful franchise.
  18. Best play call of Hackett's career.
  19. I have no doubt he'll look good for a half season, or even a season, but once Ds adjust to him he'll be toast. RG3, Vince Young, etc.
  20. That speed off the edge kills.
  21. I'll take it too but man, Woods had an easy TD there if Orton can hit the simple pass. Clean pocket, wide open WR, no reason to overshoot that throw.
  22. I'd love to see more designed plays to Watkins and less to Chandler.
