  1. So if he made the 30 yarder and missed the 51yarder his job would be secure still? I didn't see anything about cutting Gay so the Bills currently have 3 kickers (4 counting Schmitt) on the team?
  2. If they're open 24 hours why are they still called 7-11s? They should be called 24/7s.
  3. How dumb does somebody have to be to punch somebody in the face when the have a helmet on and you make your living with your hands? Forget about the penalty, he's lucky he didn't break his hand/wrist, Yep, guy needs to learn to do a soccer/BBall flop as if Tyson KO'd him. That's how you get the ref's attention.
  4. Doesn't change the fact that if he was on the Bills that play wouldn't have happened so he wouldn't necessarily be injured... I'll say it again. Why the Bills went into the season with only 3 RBs on the active roster when their #1 was not healthy is a mystery. They're fortunate that Bryce is still available if they need him.
  5. Posted that without even realizing which thread I was posting in. Deleted, my bad.
  6. His false start yesterday is one of the worst penalties I've ever seen and that's not hyperbole. Has anybody ever seen an NFL lineman get a false start when they were simply trying to get the D to jump? They had no intention of snapping the ball and he STILL jumped. He should be running sprints every day for a month for that.
  7. I've said this a million times to myself but then I realized that I'm just as pissed when they lose a close, competitive game. Nobody ever thinks their team played well in a loss so the idea that the "other team was just better" never really occurs to most fans - me included.
  8. DL needs to start getting their hands up when the realize this is the game plan. Sure, it takes away from the pass rush but they're not getting there anyway. A few batted balls for INTs might make offenses second guess this strat. The DBs also need to be pressing the WRs and making tackles the moment they catch the ball. Safeties need to be knocking the snot out of any WRs coming across the middle. If they can't get pressure there are other ways of disrupting their offense.
  9. I don't know if it's the thing that makes me the most mad, but I hate it when my wife hangs her bras to dry on the door handles all over the house because she doesn't want to run them through the dryer and its easier than putting them on hangers. For some reason it annoys me to no end. Wait...is this the right thread for this?
  10. I don't agree that the Bills should have won the game. They were beaten from start to finish. It's not like they let this one slip away.
  11. NS. The problem is never going to be fixed if you give them a pat on the back and say, "thata boy!"
  12. Didn't finish drives in the 2nd half, despite moving the ball. That's still not good O. There was no room for error after they start they had and they couldn't put it together.
  13. True, but in classic Bills' fashion, when the team needed a big stop the D let them score a TD. It's been this same recipe for a decade now.
  14. It bothered me as well but the bottom line is this is how the refs are goign to call the games. The Bills have to be prepared for it and adjust their play accordingly. Otherwise we'll be back here each and every week lamenting how the refs "cheated" the Bills.
  15. Players would SMASH PUNY BULLETIN BOARD WITH BIG WORDS!!!!
  16. Saw today that he has a "new tear" and will miss 3-4 weeks. Yeah, I could see this plaguing his entire season.
  17. I can easily see the flag being throw if a ref (who is watching more than just Cog) seeing a guy dive towards a player's midsection and ends up at his feet. Sure, it's not the right call (particularly when you watch the replay) but the refs have to make bang bang decisions and it's easy to nitpick things watching a replay in slow motion. Just engage him up top and don't give the ref a chance to throw the flag.
  18. No, but he can engage him up top so there isn't even a question. Why dive at his hips? I agree, it wasn't a good call when seen via replay but when you dive towards a player and you end up at their feet there's a decent chance a flag will fly on that.
  19. Yeah, Taylor was one of the problems today. You think that was good QB play?
  20. It was borderline but there is no need for it. The man was blocked and wasn't near Taylor and Incognito was off balance when he attempted to engage. Why throw a questionable block that has no impact on the play?
  21. The offense was horrible today.
  22. Just pathetic. If a team comes out and just beats you I can live with it. Undisciplined players who are totally out of control is something I can't accept.
  23. Of course they effect the game, but to blame them for the loss is pure idiocy.
  24. This team mirrors their head coach. He can't control his emotions and they can't either. There were STILL quotes this week about how he can't let the NE game go. That's a man not in control of himself, so much so that he can't even just tell the media he's concentrating on the Giants even if it is still bothering him. To top it off he makes cracks about how stats are meaningless this week yet at the same time claims the team was going to have the #1 D in the league. What was that #1 ranking going to be based on if not stats, his opinion? #1 in boneheaded penalties is about the only thing they'll lead the league in. So disgusted with this team. It's the SOS.
