    He reminded me of Joe Montana that championship year at LSU, and he’s looked very good in the NFL, especially this year… but Montana would’ve beaten the Rams last Sunday.

    I respect those winning teams a HELL of a lot more than the mediocre teams of later years who just happened to get hot at the end.

    I may be the only one, but I prefer when you have 1 or 2 dominant teams who are just a whole lot better than everyone else… true champions when they win it all.

    Also, when ranking the Super Bowl winners, this Rams team will be close to the bottom of the list. I don’t think they were close to being considered the best team in the league all season long (until after the final game).

    Well, the 4th best team in the NFC beat the 4th best team in the AFC… nothing super about this watered-down SB at all. Not as bad as the Braves winning the WS this year though.

    Fair to say that Rodgers and Marino are arguably in the top 5 regular season QBs, along with Peyton Gump. All 3 are still far, far, FAR below, looking far, far, FAR up at Brady, Montana, and (arguably) Graham.

    Sorry if already mentioned in this thread... No doubt McD ***** the bed n those 13 seconds.... but I've been watching some of the Brady retirement Super Bowls on NFL Network, and absolutely nothing is more heinous than Seattle in the Malcolm Butler game. Nothing. Falcons meltdown isn't far behind. I still believe McD will get the job done.
