  1. Lil Antoine in Minnesota? No.Lil Antoine when he was on the Bills? I'll take a healthy McGee. Comparable coverage skills & light years better as a playmaker.
  2. Obviously Badol..Most knowledgeable, most accurate, most prescient, and always a great read
  3. From that list, Conlan was an easy vote. I would also agree with Ruben Brown and add Lil Antoine. Truer words have seldom appeared on the Internet. But I agree, there were only a few nitwits that overrated him here, though they were pretty vocal. For underrated, I voted for Butch Byrd. Maybe not so much back in the day, but it seems to me that Booker Edgerson has gotten more props more recently, and Byrd was much better if I recall correctly.
  4. Absolutely correct, thank you. As for Moulds, . True, he was tremendous in 1998, but I will most remember him for 2005. Not nearly as bad as Ruben Brown quitting on the team in 2003, but, bottom line, he was always a punk,.
  5. No surprise, TD was working for the worst owner in the league. In 2001, he was given the keys to the franchise (much like Brandon this year). That first draft, he was probably able to do whatever he wanted. After that though, Ralph started meddling again & it just got worse and worse. I'm not giving TD a total pass at all, but the circumstances were certainly less than optimal. Puddinhead Williams over McKinnie was definitely on TD. The Bledsoe trade and extending Bledsoe after 2003 (his biggest mistake IMO), those could've been Ralph calls, as well as the McGahee pick. As for not taking Willis #1 in 2003, the Bills would've probably taken Kelsay in the 1st instead, what great luck!
  6. I agree that Kolb is complete trash, but I would still take him over Mallett & a couple others... does JP still count? Fitz had to go after last year, but I would rather see him still around than Kolb. Oh well, at least they got rid of TJax today.
  7. Absolutely not. It's less about Tebow being any good & more about Mallett being a total slug. I'd rather have friggin' TJax than Mallett, Kolb too. A definite upgrade.
  8. That's exactly what he is, at least in college anuways: another brain-dead statue with a big arm who folds at the worst possible moments.
  9. Tebow > Mallett. TT is a winner who can make things happen, while RM chokes in the clutch & is a statue to boot. HUGE upgrade.
  10. I would definitely take Biscuit on one of his best days over Urlacher. As for 1st ballot HOF , he can wait till Ray is in. Maybe Dick Jauron can induct him.
  11. Last time I was truly excited about a Bills off-season (other when Bledsoe was finally dumped in 2005) was in 2001, & there are some similarities. Ralph 'passed the torch' to another. Before getting the job, TD was a highly-respected & much sought-after NFL executive. Before getting the promotion, Brandon was a good marketing guy but a proven failure running a football team. Now, even though he was supposed to be out of the picture, Ralph ended up meddling and micro-managing TD, the major factor in TD's failure here IMO. Maybe this time, he really will stay away, but nevertheless, Littman & Overdorf have gone nowhere. Hopefully Brandon + Ralph not meddling compared to TD + Ralph meddling will be close to a wash. I am much more positive on the Marrone hiring than I was on the GW hiring, and I like what I am hearing about Whaley. I still think all the trash at the top of the organization needs to be gone once and for all, but it would be great if Marrone & Whaley prove themselves to be worthy of staying after the new ownership eventually takes over.
  12. True, but my point was more about Marv hiring the guy he wanted... one of his Chicago 'buddies' who shared many of the same coaching traits and philosophies that he did. We can thank Marchibroda for the K-Gun, that was a polar opposite to Marv's conservative approach (though much to his credit, he agreed to fully adopt it). OTOH, regardless of what Buddy told the media, he was stuck with Chan after many other 'candidates' just said no.Both DJ & Chan sucked, record-wise DJ less so, but I hold Marv more responsible than Buddy for the coach he hired And it's "Don't spin, just win".
  13. To name a handful,1. Jauron hiring. Marv got the man he wanted, where Buddy was stuck with Chan since no one wanted the job. 2.Trading high draft picks to move up for trash (McCargo) & a mediocrity (Pos) 3. Lil Donte. Maybin was more ridiculous by far, but I can't put that one on Buddy. 4. Nate Clements fiasco - should've gotten at least a draft pick for him. You may argue that Levitre is Buddy's Nate, but he didn't publicly botch the situation like Marv did. 5. Jason Peters fiasco - should've taken care of him before Dockery & Walker
  14. No, but I am afraid of seeing Kolb or TJax on the field period. The sooner EJ is ready, the better... work on corrections in the pre-season.
  15. Good luck Buddy. As always, it's hard to truly evaluate the overall effectiveness of Bills GM's considering they have to work for such total garbage at the top of the organization. At least he was light years better than Marv.
  16. Definitely want to see him this pre-season. Kaufman looks like camp fodder to me, I'm not interested in David Nelson 2.0 either.
  17. Here's to this Duke being better than the last Duke we drafted in the 4th round.
  18. OJ, Jimbo, Bruce, Thurmal... no other combinations for me.
  19. Here's another comparison: pre-injury, JB80 > EM80.
  20. Easier said than done, at least around here..If (God forbid) he looks like a complete disaster, the 2nd coming of JP Losman, there will be many who will say "all he needs is more time".
  21. I expect Kolb & TJax to be complete garbage. Thus, I expect EJ to end up starting ASAP. I don't know how he will perform but I'm hoping for the best.
