  1. Consider what happened the last time we traded up to take a weapon from Clemson and just say NO.
  2. Sam Wyche's alarm clock did not work with Drew Bledsoe. Like you said though, he had nothing to work with.
  3. Maybe not as a person, but he certainly was a PoS of an owner.
  4. JP along with Gary Marangi were my 2 biggest Bills QB disappointments. After 2.5 years of absolute garbage with the brain-dead POS statue, I was so excited to change to a mobile QB in 2005, damn shame it didn’t work out. In 2007, I was more than cool with it, but I was a little surprised he got such a quick hook for Edwards.
  5. Yeah, I may not be Canadien, but the Spirit was better than anything on Buffalo radio (other than Gary Storm’s Oil of Dog, of course).
  6. Obviously Neil and Joni... but I will give a shout-out to Nash The Slash, may he RIP.
  7. It was a Frank Middleton cheap shot. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/cowart-sidelined-six-weeks-1.226409 PS. ***** you Tony Dungy.
  8. Fine, until the Rat’s next meltdown.
  9. I heard about this driving home from work on the FAN here in Baltimore. The consensus take is that he is a far better RT than LT and not even close in talent to Ronnie Stanley who will be returning from injury. Once he became a malcontent, there was no problem shipping him off when the deal was right. They don’t like that he was traded to the rival Chiefs, but consensus again is that he will have issues with protecting the Rat’s blind side from speed rushers. Competent? Yes. Great? Absolutely not.
  10. If they had next-gen stats back then, the vast amount of yards that Schobel would run in a game without getting close to the QB would be astounding. That is my lasting memory of AS. To be fair, he did make some plays.
  11. Yeah, I wouldn’t draft either of them that high, let alone burn 3 #1’s on them, but at least Mac Jones would still be on my board. Art Schlichter was one of my biggest all-time disappointments, I thought he’d be great in the NFL. AJ Hawk too, but I’d have no problem drafting an OSU LB these days.
  12. Looking at pedigree, Alabama has had Joe Namath, Bart Starr, and Ken Stabler as QBs. Ohio State has had Mike Tomczak.
  13. If you're going to do that, I'm going to take the Sam Cowart who never got cheap-shotted.
  14. He did have 6 years of drought-stench baked into him from 2000-2005. And he did quit on the team before the left, though I admit that can possibly be looked at as a positive considering the trash he was dealing with. https://www.espn.com/nfl/news/story?id=2255840 All-in-all, I think he's another that would need major deprogramming before you would risk adding him to the current mix.
  15. Yeah, Nate is the one, but only after intense deprogramming that would make him forget everything about this organization from back when he played here. "Who's Ralph Wilson?" "Never heard of him." - Nate
  16. Funny, that is how I became a Yankees fan. Over the air in the 70’s, you could only get Ch 2, 4, and 7, ch 17 PBS zzzzz, the great ch. 29, the great ch. 11 from Hamilton, and Toronto stations in not-as-good quality. Then we got cable, with WOR (Mets ) WPIX (Yanks!) and later HBO (boobies!) added to the roster, it was so great!
  17. I wasn't sure, but I kinda remembered you were a Celtics fan. No, I don't like Boston, but that was a GREAT decade for basketball, nothing better than Celtics - Lakers. Bad Boys were my team though, I lived in Ann Arbor last few years of the 80's.
  18. No doubt about that, but if you were a general Boston hater like me, the 80's Celtics more than kept me annoyed at all their teams. We will always have Bill Buckner though.
  19. I'm not a Kelly Clarkson fan, but I always thought this song rocks. Here it is without the cheesy drum machine.
  20. True. Of course, Josh is neither a statue nor brain dead.
  21. I hear you, but I will always appreciate the Pats SB humiliation. If they only would've beaten Miami though.
  22. It is true that the only time baseball is any good is when the Mighty Yankees are on top. This is incontrovertible.
