  1. He did have 6 years of drought-stench baked into him from 2000-2005. And he did quit on the team before the left, though I admit that can possibly be looked at as a positive considering the trash he was dealing with. https://www.espn.com/nfl/news/story?id=2255840 All-in-all, I think he's another that would need major deprogramming before you would risk adding him to the current mix.
  2. Yeah, Nate is the one, but only after intense deprogramming that would make him forget everything about this organization from back when he played here. "Who's Ralph Wilson?" "Never heard of him." - Nate
  3. Funny, that is how I became a Yankees fan. Over the air in the 70’s, you could only get Ch 2, 4, and 7, ch 17 PBS zzzzz, the great ch. 29, the great ch. 11 from Hamilton, and Toronto stations in not-as-good quality. Then we got cable, with WOR (Mets ) WPIX (Yanks!) and later HBO (boobies!) added to the roster, it was so great!
  4. I wasn't sure, but I kinda remembered you were a Celtics fan. No, I don't like Boston, but that was a GREAT decade for basketball, nothing better than Celtics - Lakers. Bad Boys were my team though, I lived in Ann Arbor last few years of the 80's.
  5. No doubt about that, but if you were a general Boston hater like me, the 80's Celtics more than kept me annoyed at all their teams. We will always have Bill Buckner though.
  6. I'm not a Kelly Clarkson fan, but I always thought this song rocks. Here it is without the cheesy drum machine.
  7. True. Of course, Josh is neither a statue nor brain dead.
  8. I hear you, but I will always appreciate the Pats SB humiliation. If they only would've beaten Miami though.
  9. It is true that the only time baseball is any good is when the Mighty Yankees are on top. This is incontrovertible.
  10. I was thinking Etienne, but then I came to my senses. Sammy Watkins, CJ Spiller, Shaq Lawson, Perry Tuttle. True, I loved Jerry Butler, but I think it’s best to bar Clemson players from my Bills board.
  11. I don’t remember Remi Prudhomme, but I am getting annoyed just seeing his name.
  12. One thing you missed is that baseball is no longer relevant to the vast majority of American sports fans, joining pro basketball. Of course, hockey was never there. So... it really doesn’t matter what they do to most people. Best to just look back and marvel at all the many pennants the Yankees won during the glory days of baseball.
  13. No Will Ferrell? I would watch if he hosted for a week.
  14. I consider the last 50 years of Macca to be the biggest waste of talent ever in history... but I always liked hearing this song on the radio back-in-the-day:
  15. Yet another FA that no one in here mentioned or wanted before today. Beane is just too sneaky!
  16. Doesn't get any better than The Boyzz (from Illinoiz) and The Godz.
  17. I like goofing on Sad Sack Fergy, but I've never hated him. He was just so MEH.
  18. I think Journey is absolute garbage, maybe the worst band I've ever seen (opening for the Stones at Rich 1981). I always did like the way Feeling That Way goes into Anytime on the Infinity album though. Helps that there's very little Steve Perry on those 2 songs.
  19. Maybe Curtis Brown? (apologies to him if he is innocent!)
  20. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/look-bills-give-up-humiliating-touchdown-to-jets-kickoff-team-in-30-10-loss/amp/ Happened to the great Mike Gillislee.
  21. Damn, that’s the guy I know you hated, more than Chambers, I forgot DOH.
  22. I’m glad to see you bring up Ostroski. What about Kirk Chambers?
