We MAY play the 3-4 on third down, just so Merriman can rush the passer as part of a four man rush. That is the totality of our commitment to the 3-4, especially with Wanstedt on board.

Whats the difference between stepping in and changing a call when you feel its best, and having complete veto power? I think Wannstedt will be involved in gameplanning and will be there for advice whenever Edwards wants it, but the decisions on that side of the ball will lie with the DC. Personally I'd prefer to have Wanny running the defense, and we may just get that in time.

I may be a little biased, but on my hierarchy of teams that I dislike, the Steelers rank considerably higher than the Jetsies. Every time they come to our stadium, their fans take over. They have had a lot of success and their fans are spoiled. Roethlisberger is a schmuck. The Jets haven't won the Bowl since after the 1968 season. Fireman ed doesn't bother me. Rex Ryan is annoying, but I wish we had him. Tomlin is bland. So I guess I'll be rooting for the upset Sunday. Anybody that went into New England on Sunday and made Brady look ordinary has my respect.
