But they always seem to beat us early in the season. Let's make this year different. -

What would it take to get a player like Tyler Lockett
Wagon Circler replied to Buffalo03's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Receivers don't scare defenses unless you have a quarterback who can hit them. You think defensive coordinators care who Aaron Rogers throws to? Benjamin, Clay, Shady and Kerley are all good targets. We just need one more guy to emerge. -

Top 10 Boneheaded Moves of NFL offseason
Wagon Circler replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
HERE'S MINE: I feel the Bears made a huge mistake selecting Roquan Smith ahead of Tra Edmunds. I felt Edmunds was the second best front seven player in the draft, after Chubb; a true beast with great size and speed. Capable of playing any linebacker position and a three down player. Meanwhile I thought Smith was a little over-rated; great speed but a slightly larger safety, who cannot fight through the blocks of big offensive lineman. While Smith may be good, the Bears missed out on a great one. -

Who's excited for rookie minicamp tomorrow?

That's why we're here. The predictions began the day after the draft. -
While Idon't remember seeing Kelly in college, I do remember seeing Marino a couple of games. I remember a great throwing motion, but he threw a lot of interceptions. he certainly dropped in the draft, but I don't remember being shocked. The draft wasn't as big a deal then as it is now. When Buffalo drafted Bruce Smith first, I'd barely heard of him!

First let me say that I am in the camp that thought the team picked the wrong Josh. Like many others, I saw JP, EJ, Cardale with this pick. Today I was watching the Murphy show, which was excellent, and they showed his senior bowl highlight package which is on bleacher report. The kid had some really great throws, with touch and often under pressure. You had to be impressed. Then there is the 37 on the Wonderlic! For all those on the ledge, step away my friend and watch the video and think "Roethlisberger"!

Did the Bills REALLY get their guy?

I heard the opposite. As soon as Barkley fell, Gettleman said "don't take any calls for two". -
Explain why we should trust McBeane on offense?

RD1, Pick 7: Josh Allen QB - Wyoming
Wagon Circler replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The White Cardale. Hope I'm wrong. -
The Bills can't find a trade partner and all four quarterbacks go in the first five picks. Bills then stay at 12 and pick from whoever is left among Edmunds, Smith and Vander Esch. They will hope to grab Rudolph at 22. If he is picked before them, Mike White at 53. This is a deep QB draft, not necessarily a great one at the top.

Interesting Take From QB Guru on Allen

Josh Allen I call the "White Cardale". -
I really don't see how this guy can play in the NFL. You know what his team will think every time he misses a tackle though. I actually found the the ESPN piece to be very exploitive. Now he represents every handicapped person in the country?

This deserves a separate thread. Proposed topics: Daboll is clueless: Kim is cheap; 5 out of first seven are on the road. The league farked us! Beane gave up too much to move up; Beane didn't move up and farked us.

Why can't he be that and good?
