A few years ago I was out west for work, maybe Colorado? I'm in the office of a fast food restuarant talking with a manager when I notice a weekly bulletin from their district manager that had RW's picture on it. (It was around the time of his death) I asked the manager about it and they told me the DM was a big Bills fan and was always including little blurbs about the Bills in his weekly bulletins to the stores. I did get to finally meet him at one of the stores. A related note, I was in Arizona and the DM there was a Giants fan. The week I was there, one of my co-workers I was with is a Pats fan. It was fun introducing them to each other, not as employees, but as which team they were fans of.

My parents had someone stop by their house a few years ago that had lived there back in the 1940s. They even brought pictures of what it looked like then and some of the people that lived there.

That guy with the puppets. I would have a comedy channel going on Pandora and when he would come on, I couldn't get to my phone fast enough to thumb him down. For me though it's more a type. I like the ones that can tell stories, like Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Ron White, etc. What I dislike are the "comics" whose only routine is ask the audience what they do for work and then insult them. That's not comedy, that's a high school bully.

In NY it's legal to discipline (aka smack) your kids, in public or private, as long as it's open hand. So smack across the cheek or bottom is okay. Closed fist (aka punch) or using objects (belt, stick, etc) is not legal, even when in the privacy of your own home. A sheriff's deputy told me this because they'd get calls from teens wanting to report abuse, but when arriving on scene would explain to the child that the spanking or slap they got was perfectly legal.
