It's not his deep balls that worry me - it's his not-so-quick outs that all seem like pick-6's waiting to happen. Despite his very good numbers this preseason, it was distressing to me that he's still throwing those in situations where a good CB who's been game planning WILL pick them off. That's the real beauty of Allen too - he throws passes that CBs think they can reach out and grab until they whiff and get nothing but the contrail behind his 70 mph fast balls.

It has been stated REPEATEDLY in local and national media both that pushing all this dead cap into 2018 has been THE POINT all along. I've been around long enough to see them get good, and bad, and good again, and bad again - it happens.
