  1. I sure hope the Brownies pay Mayfield $40M/yr. It will set their franchise back for many years.
  2. Nothing. You can't fix what's lacking between the ears. Also, I wouldn't give up on Darnold just yet. He has had zero stability and consistently awful coaching. He may be OK with the right situation.
  3. The wife puts parsnips in the crockpot beef stew recipe along with the potatoes carrots and such. Delicious.
  4. Thanks. It was a very good effort and a nice bounce back from the disaster against Davidson. We have the tiebreaker for 3rd place in the conference now and that would allow us to avoid Dayton until the finals, if we get that far. Nice win for Cuse too. I watched most of it and felt they would come back to win after a pretty bad first half. I enjoyed the B roll showing the construction of the new roof. Should be a very different experience when they are done. The center hung massive scoreboard should be a really nice addition.
  5. The Davidson game tomorrow is so enormous. A chance to put us in the drivers seat for the 3 seed and make a statement on national TV. Can't wait.
  6. Bonnies gut out an 83-80 victory at Duquesne. It was a battle for third place in the A10 conference and we came out on top in a very well-played game by both teams. Coach Schmidt always seems to have us peaking at the right time.
  7. Teddy our Golden and our granddog Howie the Berner
  8. Osun is a game changer for sure. One of the more impactful players I can remember and he is just a Soph. Umass' freshman center was having his way with us while Osun was on the bench with foul trouble last night. Once O re-entered the game he shut him down and we won handily. This team is fun to watch. This Saturday against VCU could be very interesting if Osun can stay on the court. I believe we can win if so.
  9. Nice article about Osun's shot blocking prowess in today's Buffalo News https://buffalonews.com/2020/01/10/st-bonaventure-bona-mens-basketball-osun-osunniyi-blocked-shots-atlantic-10-2019-2020/
  10. Absolutely. Great game atmosphere as many Bona fans will be there. It’s always a sweet victory if we can beat them on their floor.
  11. So sorry for your loss. May your dad rest in peace.
  12. Thank you for this. I just bought 4 for New England and Ticketmaster gave me the option of printing and mailing, which I took for the same reasons you stated above. I didn't think that was even an option at this point so I was kind of concerned we would have an issue at the gates. I figured it would be OK but I appreciate the reassurance.
  13. To that end, I used Sturdi Built Sheds located throughout the Buffalo area. https://www.sturdibuiltsheds.com/ They prefer to deliver a pre-built shed but will build on site if necessary. I had them do that because the placement of the shed would have been impossible for them to get to with their equipment. They did a great job. Shed was built in 4 hours and it has held up perfectly over several years now. Highly recommend.
  14. In 1988 against the Jets when we cliched the division. I believe we won in OT 6-3. Fred Smerlas blocked a FG attempt and then we won it. That is where the famous photo of the fans storming the field on the "Fandemonium" poster came from.
  15. Would be shocked. McD's defense has that hybrid LB/S spot and he fits it nicely.
  16. This whole process is inspiring. From Ezra's selfless request, to the folks like Del Reid and Jonah Javad who picked up the ball to make it happen, to all the donors who responded, and now to the WNY companies who pitched in to make these backpacks beyond cool. A lot of good happening here. Great job all.
  17. Love Basil Hayden. Anyone in the ME, MA or NH area try Wiggly Bridge bourbon.
  18. 1) The Clash - Toronto CNE Grandstand September 1982 2) None that sticks out. If I don't like the band I don't go. Lots of lousy openers though. The Divinyls opening for The Clash at SUNY Binghamton were godawful. 3) Been blessed to see so many of my favs over the years. I've been waiting for Joel Plaskett Emergency to come down to the states for a show but he sticks primarily to Canada. 4) Saw Rick Danko and Robbie Robertson solo but never got to see The Band back in the day. Would have enjoyed that I'm sure.
