  1. BOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. I'll bet at game 2 of the Twins/Yankees series. GO TWINS!
  3. Bugmenot.com is a good site to get a login to a site without even needing the temporary address. Sites routinely close down accounts that are posted there though. Still, worth a shot.
  4. It's relatively new. I'm always looking for feedback/suggestions on how to improve it as well. Since it's a not a true database, searching is pretty limited. The best I could come up with for now is the tags in front of the recipe names. Still, lots of good stuff in there.
  5. Reminder - we have a cookbook forum. I'm copying recipes over from the original cookbook forum we had. it's a slow process though. Contribute your recipes there -- I'm looking at you, BB27!!! http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/forum/70-two-bills-drive-cookbook-forum/
  6. Moats on the field hurt, holding his arm.
  7. FYI - It's supposed to be #gobuffalo Sorry, my mistake - I fixed the initial post.
  8. Just a reminder - play by play and general chitchat is available on IRC (not the same as the chat button at the top of this page) http://irc.webmaster.com Channel: #gobuffalo Hope to see you there!
  9. I haven't devolved it into anything - I commented that your statement, " Well, the refs and I think it was choreographed, so you might want to give the NFL a call and let them know your opinion. I'm sure it will be received very well. Like your post" was incorrect. And now you backpedal. Oh, and I was a football ref a few years back and I'm a mod here now.... So I just won't assess a penalty or fine on myself, k?
  10. Thanks for including the rule that proves you're completely wrong about the choreographed portion. In Section 3, Article 1, (e), it states: "TWO OR MORE PLAYERS engage in prolonged, excessive, premeditated, or choreographed celebrations." Johnson was obviously not flagged for choreography based on the rules. I also see no mention of fines related to celebrations in the book -- I did a search in the book for "fine," and only had one reference that was not related to celebrations. Anything else you'd like to say about choreography or props?
  11. Want to show me a link where it says the fine was because it was choreographed? The NFL said: ""Steve Johnson was fined $10,000 for unsportsmanlike conduct (specifically, after a touchdown, he made an inappropriate gesture)." Nothing about choreography there. Nice try though!
  12. Except that it wasn't choreographed and there were no props.... Try again.
  13. What are the rules? I see players do things like that all the time and not get a penalty, let alone a fine. How can you play within the rules when the rules are not consistent consistently explained and enforced?
  14. It the Bills were still down by 30 points after his score, I'd agree. But they were keeping it close, and were only one score down after his TD. He was excited about it, and I understand that. It was a nice play. His celebration was hardly excessive and DEFINITELY does not deserve a $10k fine.
  15. Give me a break. It didn't deserve a flag, and it doesn't deserve a fine on top of it. Why is it that Johnson gets a $10k fine for mimicking a mascot, but Frank Zombo only gets a $7,500 fine for a helmet-to-helmet hit on the Packers' quarterback...? http://www.acmepackingcompany.com/2010/10/1/1723980/frank-zombo-fined-7500-for-hit-on-cutler Oh yeah, the Packers don't play in New England.
  16. This clock is cooler:
  17. The show was on TV a few years back - recorded and watched every episode over the course of however many months. Good show!
  18. Agreed. I'm taking my team out to a movie next week, and I'm debating whether we should watch this one or not... The original was so good, that I just don't think the remake will do it justice.... Maybe I'll delay the outing a week and go to Red instead.
  19. Check out this forum: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/forum/70-two-bills-drive-cookbook-forum/ And here: http://web.archive.org/web/20060909115847/www.twobillsdrive.com/cookbook/ I still haven't transferred all of the recipes from the archive into the new forum, but it'll happen once school is done. Feel free to contribute your own, too!
  20. The article's wrong - we scored that in 77 seconds, not 93 seconds. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2010/9/30/1703600/september-30-1990-bills-score-20-points-in-77-seconds My mom's boss offered her two tickets to go to the game. Lower bowl, 50 yard line, roughly 15-20 rows back... And my mom turned them down because it was "too cold." I was so mad because I wanted to go (would've been my first ever game - I was still in high school). I was even more upset when we made history...
  21. I can't sit through it again...
  22. Did you see Avatar? I thought that was VERY well done (although the movie itself sucked...). It didn't throw things at you as a gimmick, it just made the image look completely three dimensional. That said, the movie was FILMED with that in mind. Movies that do this sort of thing after the fact aren't going to be half as good. As for the constant re-releases -- it's not just Lucas. Studios have been doing that forever.
  23. All Tim Minear (and Joss Whedon) shows are like that.
  24. I don't know that I agree with that - although the media may like to portray that. Also consider that the US has nearly 10x as many people as Canada -- more people = more chances of crazy people doing crazy stuff.
  25. Yeah, this stuff never happens in Canada. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dawson_College_shooting
