  1. To be fair, most of those things are common in any stadium and any sport. He tried going into the stadium 4 hours before kickoff? Why? He's complaining that a tshirt is $13 at the stadium? He didn't even attempt to tailgate. Guy sounds like a whiner.
  2. - I do too, but still funny. I believe Fichte is the doctor my grandmother went to for cataract surgery... And her eye is now 100x worse than before the surgery. She decided against letting anyone touch her other eye. Not the same procedure, but always be careful with your eyes -- we can't replace them with robot eyes that have laser beams (yet).
  3. I think all teams have IT. They all have websites at least, and that requires some sort of IT system.
  4. No problems here either, although a lot of people in the chat room were complaining that it wasn't in HD locally. Are you local? If so, that's probably the problem - the local affiliate, not DirecTV.
  5. This guy's brilliant with statements like: Whew, what a great football mind.
  6. Don't make your decision based on that -- all of the major smartphones have that capability. http://mashable.com/2010/08/07/netflix-android-app/ http://www.betanews.com/article/Windows-Phone-7-Series-has-Netflix-streaming-Xbox-Live-gaming/1268680924 Try 'em all out. If you like the iPhone, great. But don't think that you HAVE to use that one.
  7. Haven't seen anything about this yet. http://www.ohiofreepress.com/general/2010/h.r.4646-1-tax-transactions-financial-institution/ Anyone looked into it to see if it's true?
  8. Here's a link to the "old timers" chat room (including play by play for those who can't watch the game) http://www.twobillsd.../fan_zone/chat/ Hope to see you there!
  9. I think it'll be a long-shot. The Bears are coming off of a bye, and it's always very difficult to beat teams that have had the extra week of rest/planning. I hope they're right though!
  10. I just couldn't get into the show. The first season bored me...
  11. Agreed - there's a lot of good movies out there, just not the ones you see a million commercials.
  12. Or MySpace? (which is now Myspace. Or My______ ) http://www.neowin.net/news/my_____-redesigns-site-stops-competing-with-facebook
  13. If Ralph was the person responsible for the Spiller pick, why does Spiller not get much playing time? Wouldn't you think Ralph would be forcing Chan to play him? I agree that our lines are weak - we've both been saying the same thing since the (future Hall of Famer ) Bledsoe days. But despite that, I still don't think it was Ralph's pick. It just doesn't make sense. Best player on the board - and Chan knew we had a million holes to fill.
  14. Usually agree with your Bill, but again - this is just hyperbole. The team DOES need to be more exciting. Doesn't mean he had anything to do with the Spiller pick.
  15. Pure hyperbole.
  16. Believe it or not, it's not just Bills fans who think it's lame to allow coaches to call timeouts "before" the FG attempt (and frankly, by the time the ref blows the whistle the play is usually already over). Most fans I've talked to seem to think ti's stupid as well.
  17. Since we're talking zombies, I just wanted to LAMP my zombie photo shoot from earlier this year.
  18. Why are you crying? I don't see people in this thread crying that we lost the game because of the timeout, only that the timeout is a stupid rule in general. I told a coworker about the game and his first comment was, "That timeout thing is a stupid rule." It's not just Bills fans complaining about it - it's a dumb rule.
  19. Yeah, but if you don't get the timeout off in time, now you only had 10 people rushing the kick instead of 11. There's a reason this type of play was never called like this in the past.
  20. Easy fix. Only players can call a timeout when you line up in FG formation.
  21. But running the ball just once all but guarantees that you will either win or tie the game, and not lose. Heck, even if Fitz was sacked, it would've been a better outcome than the grounding penalty.
  22. Nobody's saying that what happened was against the rules. The topic is that the rule should be changed. I would agree -- it's lame, regardless of the outcome.
  23. I can confirm that the movie "Inside" was VERY gruesome. Blood everywhere. And except for one scene near the end, it was pretty believable as far as these things go. There were some REALLY disturbing scenes too. If you like creepy/gross horror movies, you'll love this one. I'll never look at a pair of scissors the same way again... (make sure you're looking at the FRENCH horror movie; there's another flick called Inside with some guy in a coffin, but it's not the same thing). http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/a_le_interieur/
  24. I recorded it as well - haven't watched it.
  25. Not many here either. Probably 25-30 total. Nobody showed up until after 6pm either. The dog had fun guarding the house, barking at everyone who came up to the door. Used it as a training exercise. Doorbell rings, dog barks, we say, "Thank you, Buzzy." He stops barking. Or did for the first 20 or so kids. After that, he stopped listening, probably because he was tired of the treats we gave him.
